Fortnite for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One gets another update bringing the battle royale shooter to version 6.10. With Fortnite 6.10 Android smartphone users should see improvements in performance, particularly if they're on Android 7 (Nougat) or lower. In addition to this Epic Games has stated that the PS4 Pro version of Fortnite sees its resolution bumped up from 1080p to 1440p on 4K displays. The Fortnite 6.10 update download size is around 148MB on iOS.
Also new to this update is a new 'Events' tab which includes several in-game tournaments that are open for all to check out. Epic has explained how tournaments work in Fortnite.
Previously it was revealed that Fortnite Mobile for Android can be played without an invite. Epic Games has removed the restriction of needing a Fortnite Mobile for Android invite from the company or your friends to play the game. You can download the game via Epic's own site or Samsung's storefront. Choosing the former prompts you to allow the Fortnite Installer to download via your browser, while the latter redirects you to the Samsung Galaxy Apps store.
After allowing our device to install apps from non-Google verified sources, we were on our way. The Fortnite Installer download was around 4MB and tapping it left us with 1.88GB download size for Fortnite Mobile itself.
