Matt Hamlin is a UK-based video gamer who loves Bethesda's post-apocalyptic role-playing game Fallout 4 and making videos for his YouTube channel. Adding to his recent speciality of recreating trailers for movies and TV shows inside Fallout 4 - which included the likes of Daredevil, House of Cards, and Captain America: Civil War - Hamlin decided to take on the first season of zombie-apocalyptic show The Walking Dead which aired back in 2010.

"Following the disappointment of The Walking Dead Season 6 finale I have modded Fallout 4 and used console commands to recreate the season 1 trailer of the Walking Dead in Fallout 4," Hamlin noted in the video's description. "The video includes a few mods made by me that you won't find on Nexus just yet, such as Rick Grimes' Sheriff hat and clothes."
Hamlin added that this video series wherein he recreates trailers of movies and TV shows wouldn't have possible without the existence of mods on the PC, which is why doing the same on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One is virtually unthinkable. As for the reason he chose to do this in Fallout 4, he said it was because "the Ghouls in Fallout 4 are perfect to use as 'Walkers'" and "its combat mechanics are so versatile".

Owing to the open world nature and the massive potential to mod games such as Grand Theft Auto V and Fallout 4, there has been a rise in YouTube content creators recreating live action material. Search for any blockbuster title of the past two years from Star Wars: The Force Awakens to Spectre, and you're bound to come across a recreation or two.
