Following a leak of the announcement trailer on Thursday, EA released the Battlefield Hardline trailer on Friday, with an important piece of information- the October 21 release date (for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC). The company also announced an upcoming five minute multiplayer gameplay preview due to be uploaded on its site.
Called Battlefield Hardline: Into the Jungle, the official trailer contains the description: "Visceral Games brings its critically-acclaimed storytelling swagger to an all new cops and criminal fantasy inspired by some of the most popular TV crime dramas."
On Thursday, on its EA Sports site, the game publisher announced that NBA Live 15 will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 7. The post, by Sean O'Brien, Executive Producer for NBA Live 15, also detailed the new features the game will be bringing.
O'Brien acknowledged the NBA Live 14 fell short in two areas - 5-on-5 gameplay, and visuals. The company promised to make up for that with its next title. Speaking of the visuals, O'Brien said the development team has been taking head scans of NBA players, making sure the faces are digitally accurate. New player models and new lighting apparently makes the player 'look really amazing.'
Coming to the gameplay, O'Brien said NBA Live 15 is more realistic, and has much better overall flow and responsiveness. More details will be given in July.
EA also announced that FIFA 15 for PC will feature the same EA Sports Ignite engine it had used for FIFA 14 on Xbox One and PS4. The company also detailed minimum and recommended specifications to be able to run the game. It also said more details about the game would be available at its E3 press conference on June 9.
