It's official. One of the most anticipated games of this year, Bioshock Infinite, has been delayed. The third instalment in the Bioshock series which was due to release in October 2012, will now come out on February 26, 2013.
Talking of the delay on the game's official website, game designer Ken Levine said," "Bioshock Infinite is a very big game, and we're doing things no-one has ever done in a first-person shooter. We had a similar experience with the original Bioshock which was delayed several months."
The developer, Irrational games said they'll skip E3 this year to focus on pushing the game into the market. The game's preview attracted a lot of attention and also won the Best of Show at E3 last year.
Bioshock infinite is a first-person shooter game based in a floating air-city and involves a civil war between an ultranationalist ruling class and a resistance group.
