In addition to the ZenWatch 2 smartwatch, Asus on Wednesday also unveiled new computers in its all new Zen AiO S series of all-in-one computers, and a USB dongle-shaped VivoStick that runs Windows 10, as well as a range of new gaming monitors at the ongoing IFA 2015 trade show event.
Starting with the VivoStick, the USB dongle-shaped pocket computer is Asus' take on Intel's popular Compute Stick. The miniature computer supports a full-fledged version of Windows 10. As for the hardware specifications, the Asus VivoStick is powered by the 14nm Intel's Cherry Trail processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of flash internal storage. There's one USB 3.0 port as well. The device supports Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11n standard. The device costs $129 (roughly Rs. 8,500), but at this point it is not known when it will become available for sale.
The Taiwanese electronics conglomerate also unveiled the Zen AiO S (all-in-one) PC that comes with a choice of 21.5-inch (Z220IC) or 23.8-inch (Z240IC) display with up to 4K screen resolution. Inside the device sits a Core i5-6400T processor which comes coupled with 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device is powered by a Nvidia GeForce GPU. Other features of the Zen AiO S include a pair of USB Type-C ports, six speakers, and an Intel RealSense camera.
If this doesn't seem enough to you, there is also a variant of the Zen AiO S with a more powerful Intel Core i7 processor, a better graphics card and 16GB of RAM. You can go all the way up to 512GB SSD, 32GB of RAM.
The ROG G20 Special Edition was also announced at the event. It is a small-factor gaming desktop series. It features a 9.5-liter chassis and is powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X graphics.
The ROG GX700, which the company is touting as first water-cooled gaming laptop was also announced at the event. It comes coupled with Intel's overclockable sixth-generation K-SKU processor with the latest NVIDIA graphics card. The 17-inch display comes in 4K and UHD screen resolutions.
Also at the event, Asus announced a new gaming laptop that comes with Windows 10 out of the box. Called ROG G752, the gaming laptop comes powered by the sixth-generation Intel processor and Nvidia GTZ 900M series of graphics card. It also features backlit anti-ghosting 30-key rollover.
The company also announced ROG Swift PG348Q, which is a 34-inch monitor with a curved 3440x1440 screen resolution IPS panel for immersive gaming visuals. It maintains 21:9 aspect display and offers up to 100Hz rapid refresh rate. The company also announced a new motherboard which comes with Intel Z170 Express Chipset, and Intel sixth-generation processor with DDR4 RAM support. It also features the ROG 10Gb/s Ethernet card. With its low-latency design, this Ethernet card is backwards-compatible with all Ethernet standards and supports speeds of 100Mbit/s, 1Gbit/s, 2.5Gbit/s, 5Gbit/s, and 10Gbit/s. It is suitable for any PCIe 2.0 x4 connection.
The company also announced Matrix GTX 980Ti Platinum graphics card which features DirectCU II with 10mm heat pipes for 25 percent cooler performance and three-times (3X) less noise than reference cards. The company says that it has improved the airflow inside.
