With Amazon Prime Day slated for July 16, it's no surprise that Amazon's own companies would get in on the festivities. Twitch is celebrating Amazon Prime Day by giving its Twitch Prime members free PC games, with some games that can be claimed at the end of the month. The streaming service claims that the games will be "yours to claim and keep forever" with the catch being that you'll need a Twitch Prime subscription of course. Twitch Prime gives users access to free games, in-game items, discounts on new releases sold by Amazon during pre-order and for the first two weeks after launch. In addition to this, it brings ad-free viewing, exclusive emotes, a chat badge, and one free channel subscription every 30 days. While Amazon Prime is present in India, Twitch Prime is not. In fact, Twitch Prime is available globally with the exceptions being India and China. Odd considering Twitch has an India presence and supports local streamers as well.
That said, here's what you can get from Twitch Prime this month in celebration of Amazon Prime Day.
And there's more. Twitch Prime members can sign up for Music Unlimited for $0.99 (around Rs. 68.53) for four months. Also, there's a 50 percent off the entire Twitch merchandise store too from July 3 to July 17 exclusive to Twitch Prime members.
