About Where The Crawdads Sing Movie (2022)

Kyra (Daisy Edgar-Jones) was abandoned by her family in childhood and has been raising herself in the marshes of North Carolina ever since.

She learns to survive on her own, and a few lessons of reading and writing from her friend (Taylor John Smith).

Her already-challenging life becomes all the more difficult when a man (Harris Dickinson), whom she used to be involved with, is found dead, and a murder trial kicks start.

The mystery drama is a cinematic adaptation of Delia Owens’ 2018 novel of the same name.
