Five years have passed since the Battle of Chicago, and humanity is still recovering from the devastation.
Meanwhile, humans ally with a bounty hunter (Mark Ryan) to hunt down Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen).
When the Autobots refuse to snitch on Prime, the bounty hunter decides to kill them all.
The Autobots now have no other option but to seek help from a mechanic and his family.
The sci-fi drama is the fourth instalment in the live-action Transformers film series — which in itself is based on Japan’s Transformers toy line.
It is also the first feature film to be shot on smaller digital IMAX cameras, and other film formats, such as IMAX 70mm film cameras, digital stereo 3-D, and anamorphic and spherical 35mm film.
Transformers: Age of Extinction Movie Cast, Release Date, Trailer, Songs and Ratings
Today, the Transformers franchise stands for rather poor storytelling and acting, and extremely detailed giant robots that punch, kick and shoot at each other in a series of ever-growing explosions. So it's perhaps no surprise that the latest film in the series continues this tradition. Transformers: Age of Extinction is, however also a great looking film, and some of the early scenes in particular stand out for their amazing use of 3D effects.
