About Toilet: Ek Prem Katha Movie (2017)

Keshav (Akshay Kumar) and Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar) fall in love, and they please Keshav's father Pandit Vimalnath Sharma (Sudhir Pandey), who is a very religious and superstitious priest to get married.

After marriage, Jaya discovers that none of the houses in Keshav’s village have a toilet, and she'll have to join Lota Party for nature's call.

The unprogressive thinking upsets Jaya, and she decides to leave Keshav and returns to her parents.

A disheartened Keshav heads out on a journey to fight against the backward-thinking of the society, and take up the charge in his hand to not only bring a change in his village, but also win back Jaya’s love.
