The third story follows national-service conscript (Ahangar) leaving for a vacation along with his girlfriend. During the trip, he discovers something horrific.
The last story — which is related to one of the previous stories — is about a middle-aged couple living in a remote hilly area. They host their niece who lives in Germany.
Not only is the film banned in Iran, but Mohammad Rasoulof, the director has also been banned from leaving the country. There Is No Evil was shot in secret and smuggled out of the country.
