About The Princess and the Frog Movie (2010)

Set in the 1920s, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) is an ambitious and hardworking who dreams of opening the finest restaurant in New Orleans.

Her ambition takes a slight detour when she meets Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos), who has been turned into a frog by an evil witch doctor. Naveen mistakes Tiana for a princess and plants a kiss with the hope that it will help break the spell but ends up turning her into a frog as well.

Tiana and Naveen join hands in their urge to turn back into a human before it is too late. This animated flick is loosely based on the 2002 novel, "The Frog Princess" by E. D. Baker, which again is based on the German folk tale "The Frog Prince" as collected by the Brothers Grimm.
