About The Amazing Spider-Man Movie (2012)

The Amazing Spider-Man delves deep into how Spider-Man came to be, with a throwback into Peter Parker's (Andrew Garfield) childhood. An ‘untold story’ of sorts, the film shows how the radioactive spider that bit the young boy was actually a doing of his scientist-father’s experiments. The Amazing Spider-Man also shows the superhero fighting a reptilinan foe, the Lizard (Rhys Ifans) and fighting for his love interest Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).
