About Tere Naam Movie (2003)

Radhe (Salman Khan) is a jobless, rowdy, and violent man who rags new students at his alma mater. Also known for a golden heart, he often beats up the goons harassing the repressed and less fortunate.

He falls in love with Nirjara, a poor first-year student, who doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. As Radhe tries to win her heart nevertheless, a series of tragic incidents follows.

Official remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu, which was based on a real-life incident involving director Bala’s friend — who had similarly fallen in love, lost his mental balance and ended up at a mental asylum.
