About Snowdrop Web Series

It is 1987 and South Korea is still under dictatorship. The political atmosphere of the county is upheaved, and the democracy activists are demanding fair elections.

Cut to a university — a blood-soaked man runs into a woman’s dormitory and catches the attention of Eun Yeong-ro (Jisoo). Being the soft-hearted person that she is, Eun decides to go against her better judgement, and hides the man in her hostel — needless to say, inviting a lot of trouble. Soon, romantic sparks take over.

The romantic K-drama is based on the hand-written notes of a man who escaped from North Korea's political prison. Has attracted quite a resistance from historians and ignited several controversies.
