About Quo Vadis, Aida? Movie (2021)
Quo Vadis, Aida? is a Bosnian war drama set in the small mountain town of Srebrenica in 1995, just before the infamous Srebrenica massacre. The Serbian army has taken over the town, and thousands of citizens are pouring in front of the UN camps to seek shelter, only to be denied entry.
Aida Selmanagi? (Jasna ?uri?i?) is a UN translator who has been reassuring the panicked citizens — on behalf of the UN and NATO — that help is on the way. Meanwhile, her own family — including her husband Nihad (Izudin Bajrovi) and two sons Hamdija (Boris Ler) and Sejoare (Dino Bajrovi?) — are stuck outside the UN camp. The rest of the story revolves around Aida’s desperate attempt at saving her family while helping thousand of others.
