About Pinjar Movie (2003)

Set in the time of the partition of 1947, Puro (Urmila Matondkar) is abducted by Rashid (Manoj Bajpayee) as a result of a generation-old vendetta, and later abandoned by her family members in the name of prestige and honour. She returns to Rashid, reluctantly surrendering to fate and losing her religion, name, and identity in the process.
