The upcoming Deadpool sequel still doesn't have a title, but it does have a new trailer. Actually, it's more of a featurette for Cable (Josh Brolin) and a teaser for the wild action sequences you'll witness in Deadpool 2, with the expected fourth-wall-breaking moments delivered by Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) himself.
The new Deadpool 2 trailer begins in a self-serious style that you'd normally associate with DC's film universe or the Marvel-Netflix shows, with Cable spouting lines such as: "People think they understand pain, but they have no concept of it. What's the most pain you've ever felt?" Cue an explosion and dramatic imagery, but it's then punctured by Deadpool's voiceover.
The wisecracking mercenary points out that the visual effects aren't done – Brolin is a time-travelling mutant with a cybernetic metal arm, but the trailer shows him with a green fabric on his arm – and then makes a joke about the infamous Superman (Henry Cavill) mustache fiasco in Justice League.
Of course, that's just an excuse to make a Toy Story-type parody featuring Deadpool dressed like Woody, and then make jokes that eight-year-olds who play with action figures are likely to make, until Deadpool jumps onto Cable to rub his groin in the latter's face. It's an R-rated movie, what do you expect?

From that moment on, the Deadpool 2 trailer turns into a standard action-packed montage, with multiple characters – Cable, Deadpool, Domino (Zazie Beetz), and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) - showing off the extent of their capabilities.
What'll be more interesting for comic fans is a shot in a helicopter, with Deadpool and Domino surrounded by two other heroes, hinting that the X-Force might come together in the Deadpool sequel. One of them is definitely Terry Crews, who is officially in the cast in an undisclosed role.
Along with the trailer, Fox has also provided an official synopsis for the sequel:
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfil his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavour – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch, who helmed Charlize Theron-starrer Atomic Blonde. In addition to those mentioned above, the film also stars Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Stefan Kapičić, Jack Kesy, Karan Soni, Shioli Kutsuna, Julian Dennison, and Eddie Marsan.
Deadpool 2 releases May 18 worldwide.
