About Mismatched Season 1 Web Series

Mismatched is a coming-of-age rom-com series based on Sandhya Menon’s bestseller ‘When Dimple Met Rishi’. While the original novel is set in the United States, the web series has been tweaked, with Jaipur in the backdrop.

Dimple Ahuja (Prajakta Koli) is an ambitious tech enthusiast from a small town, who wants to pitch a billion-dollar application idea to Silicon Valley. She decides to join a summer coding program at Jaipur’s Aravalli Institute.

And so does Rishi, a die-hard romantic who wants to marry as soon as possible. Love bells ring for Rishi when he finds her profile on a matrimonial website. The two are paired for developing an app together in exchange for a cool internship. For Rishi, this is a perfect plot for his love story, but Dimple doesn’t have romance or marriage anywhere on her list.
