Candy Heron (Angourie Rice) is warmly welcomed by an elite group of popular girls called the Plastics, at her new high school. Things begin to change when she makes the mistake of falling for alpha Plastic Regina George’s (Reneé Rapp) ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney).
It is based on Mark Waters's 2004 hit comedy film of the same name – which was in turn based on the 2002 book “Queen Bees and Wannabes” by Rosalind Wiseman. There is also a popular Broadway musical of the same name, inspired by the book and the movie.
