About Maara Movie (2021)

Parvathy (Shraddha Srinath), aka Paaru, is a restoration architect who visits a small coastal village in Kerala for a project.

She finds a fairy-tale, that she had heard from a stranger as a child, painted across the walls of a coastal village. She ends up renting a house that is filled with art and artefacts which belongs to an artist named Maara (Madhavan) and discovers that he is the same artist who painted the walls across the village.

While cleaning up the place, she finds his photo and a sketchbook that depicts the happenings of the previous New Year's Eve, when a small-time thief who tried to rob Maara ended up joining hands with Maara, and decided to rob a place together. But the sketchbook ends there, leaving Paaru curious about what happened after.
