About Kuthiraivaal Movie (2022)

Saravanan (Kalaiyarasan), an alcoholic bank employee from Chennai wakes up, having a dream where he sees a horse without a tail, and a sky with both the sun and moon at the same time. In this dreamscape, Saravanan realises that he has a horse’s tail.

To curb his frustration, he seeks answers from a soothsayer, an astrologer, and a maths teacher — and naturally, each one gives their own interpretation to the formation of the horsetail.

After realising that no one else can see his tail, he embarks on a journey through his dreams, illusions, and memories, driven by his curiosity to find the meaning of this mysterious tail.
