About Happy New Year Movie (2014)

About eight years ago, street fighter Chandramohan Charlie Sharma’s (Shah Rukh Khan) father (Anupam Kher) had been labelled as a thief after he rightly pointed out Grover (Jackie Shroff), the renowned security supplier of stealing his own diamonds.

Ever since, Sharma has been burning in vengeance and the upcoming dance competition in Dubai seems to be the perfect opportunity to seek revenge.

He assembles a group of non-dancers (Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivaan Shah) and ropes in a bar dancer (Deepika Padukone) to train them, and starts preparing for the competition — as well as the monumental heist that the troop will embark upon.
