About Dostana 2 Movie

Dostana 2 is a quasi-sequel to romantic comedy film titled Dostana (2008) that revolved around two straight men pretending to be gay to share an apartment with her, only to end up falling for her towards the end. The sequel however is centred around a brother-sister (Janhvi Kapoor, Laksh Lalwani) duo that ends up falling for the same guy (Akshay Kumar). Though initially Kartik Aaryan was roped in for the lead role and was has already been filmed for a major portion of the film, he has been shelved from the project owing to creative and professional differences between Aryan and Dharma Productions.
