Buddhadev Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan) is an egoistic and pompous chef — who runs and owns London’s top Indian restaurant.
A bachelor for life, Gupta is only friends with his 85-year-old mother (Zohra Sehgal) and nine-year-old neighbour Sexy (Swini Khara), who has just been diagnosed with cancer.
His flavourless life hits a delicious twist when he crosses roads with Nina (Tabu), a beautiful 34-year-old software engineer who has a positive outlook on life, unlike Gupta.
As romance starts brewing between the two and the unconventional duo thinks of getting married, their huge age gap becomes all the more real — especially when Nina’s father (Paresh Rawal) is six years younger than Gupta.
