About Billions Season 1 Web Series

A hedge fund titan, Bobby 'Axe' Axelrod (Damian Lewis), gathers wealth and power in the world of high finance. He acts aggressively to secure high returns, during which he lands in trouble for illegal acts. Another powerful New York figure, United States Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti), goes after Axe and plays a dangerous game where the stakes reach ten figures high.

Inspired by the investigations undertaken by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara from 2009 to 2017.
