About Bigg Boss Season 1 Web Series

Bigg Boss is India's first reality TV programme that is based on the Big Brother format developed by John de Mol.

Several contestants who can be actors, models, singers, or commoners are isolated from the rest of the world and made to live in a house as "housemates". They are supposed to do house chores and participate in activities set by the Bigg Boss.

Housemates are allowed to find loopholes in the rules and gamble to win the task to later enjoy benefits like luxury budget, gift hampers, special privileges and more. Housemates who win the task gets saved by the eviction process and are asked to nominate their peers, as they can be saved only by public voting. One who receives the least vote gets evited each week. Weekend episodes are hosted by Bollywood actor, Arshad Warsi. He gives them glimpses of their journey in the entire week that helps them decide how to take the game further. Season 1 was aired on Sony Entertainment Television.
