About Begum Jaan Movie (2017)

Begum Jaan (Vidya Balan) runs a brothel that lies somewhere on the Radcliff Line, a boundary between the Indian and Pakistani portions of the Punjab Province and Bengal Presidency of British India. During the partition, Jaan and the other girls in her brothel are forced to leave but they put up a fight to stay together. However, this proves to be the beginning of the end of the Begum Jaan legacy.
