About Bandish Bandits Season 1 Web Series

Bandish Bandits is a romantic drama about two music prodigies from different diabolically opposite spectrums of music falling for each other. While Radhe hails from a traditional Gharana in Jodhpur specialising in Hindustani classical music, Tamanna is a millennial YouTube pop sensation on the rise.

It doesn’t take long for the two artists to fall for each other while working on a song together. However, their collaboration and blossoming romance are strongly opposed by Radhe’s grandfather Sangeet Samrat Rathod (Naseeruddin Shah), a classic music stalwart himself. A heartbroken Radhe finds himself at a moral crossroad with having to choose between love and his traditional musical legacy.

Bandish Bandits time and again brings out the debate of whether music seeds from discipline or is a means of liberation. It also marks the digital debut of the popular trio of Shankar Ehsan Loy, who have composed 11 soundtracks for the same.
