About Anand Movie (1971)

After winning a literary prize for his first book, Dr. Bhaskar Bannerjee (Amitabh Bachchan) recounts the story of the patient who inspired it.

Dr. Bannerjee meets cancer patient Anand Saigal (Rajesh Khanna), who is very much aware of his health conditions. But Anand expresses to live his life to the fullest in the time that is left.

Anand and his teachings leave a very profound impression on Bannerjee.
