Best under 10K tablet.Ajay Daram (May 31, 2014) on Gadgets 360the tablet came with jelly bean (4.2.2) but I received an update to KitKat (4.4.2) which was a surprise as I thought only nexus devices had KitKat. The performance has been very good. I also have a nexus 7 (2013) and the performance is not the same but the device never feels sluggish. The battery life is about 6 hours of medium to heavy use, same as most tablets. The screen is bright and the touch is responsive. Now for the drawbacks. The speaker is awful, worse than those cheap Chinese tablets you see these days. The cameras just suck, the pictures have this wired grain and low light images are simply terrible. The front facing camera is OK for Skype but it too is bad with lighting so talking in a dark room won't work at all. It's as if the cameras have night blindness. I won't be using the camera so it's no problem for me but if it's important to you then don't bother with this tablet. Overall I'm quiet impressed with the tablet. It's the best branded tablet in this segment . Pros Good screen. Good performance. Latest android. Cons Crappy speakers. Poor cameras. No headphones included.Is this review helpful?
