So. It's a 32GB SSD. That's not gonna work, even for my nephew. I already happened to have a 500GB external hard drive I didn't need (as I have a 3TB laptop), so I gave that in addition. I got all the updates done, downloaded some art programs and a couple games for him using that, and have no issue at all with it. I think it's a great choice if you have something to work around the space problem like I did. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere for a laptop with a larger SSD.

Sets up very quickly and automatically hooked up to my Brother printer. Very nice small unit.

For my purposes, which is reviewing presentation beforehand, it's fine. Wish it were a tad faster!

Some of the other reviewers are right about the speed, it certainly would have done Dell good to make this faster but it isn't crashing or anything for me, i'm using it well and it's loading, but slightly slowly is all.

This review is to comment on the excellent customer support provided by Dell. For context I purchased the Dell 3000 in July as a dedicated computer to run an application that is not available for a Mac. I?m a long time Mac user. The Windows 10 OS is completely alien to me. With respect to the computer I like the small size, battery life, and low cost. The hard drive is only 30 GB and virtually full. Automatic updates could not be installed until disk space was freed up. I could never free up sufficient disk space. If you buy this computer, I advise buying an external hard drive to have sufficient storage space to run additional applications. Because it is a dedicated machine, I have no need for all the applications (especially games) that came loaded on the computer. I contacted Dell customer service. The support person spent over half an hour uninstalling applications that were not necessary. He provided me with his email and told me to contact him directly for any future support. The service was excellent and deserves 5 stars. I gave the computer 3 stars as adequate.

I really liked this product was using it for school for one week before someone else must have liked it too because they stole it. Guess I'll have to save up some money to buy a new one literally had it a week before someone snagged it

It's a very neat size for those who don't want the big space taking sizes.. It was pretty easy to set up.However cortana's voice just does not set up for me so I can't use it unless i type in my request....After downloading google chrome and an anti virus software it started prompting me that storage was low.. Aside from those programs I just have about 10 documents scanned all very small in size. No pictures on the internal drive..I have extra storage from my micro sd card plus my flash drive but even though i changed my storage settings to save to those it isn't and i can't move those programs from the internal drive to those external ones so it freezes up a lot.. the browser crashes a lot..Sometimes the tool bar at the bottom doesn't open anything i click on including the start key so i'm forced to force close it with the power button and then turn back on...so performance wise.. i'm disappointed. Won't advise to purchase.

It?s extremely slow

The battery don?t last the long! Like 2?3 hours if fully charged. Connected to my super fast WiFi and the laptop runs very slow. It?s just not worth it. The laptop does not come with a backlit keyboard to use at night.

Do NOT buy this computer! Go ahead and buy a larger laptop with more memory. This small laptop barely has enough space for Windows and does not include office 365 as it says it does. I had to take it to a repairman so that he could clear enough storage to install an old Word 2010 I had on it and move everything else to an SD card (that I had to purchase). It said it will clog up again over time and had to install a hard drive cleaning program just to keep it working. I have now spent $270.00 on this $200.00 computer. :(

Piece of junk. I bought this for traveling. It won't store, update or anything without telling me that I have no memory. I don't have anything on it. I've even uninstalled quite a few programs that it came with.

Saw this and thought it would be a good purchase, I was so very wrong. I started it up got it all set up and thought it was doing great, Ha! Not the case to come. I got back on the computer and it did all its updates and then the nightmare starts. I was out of space! I havent downloaded a single thing except of the needed updates so I started deleting what I did not need on the computer., still not enough space! What a waste of money! I dont know what Dell was thinking when they made this computer other than robbing customers, and they have. I went over to Best Buy and they had the computer there and I spoke with one of the sales reps. I told him what was happening and how disappointed that I was with the computer and all that I have deleted. I wont tell you what was said but I will say this, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COMPUTER! I doubt very much that I will ever purchase another Dell product after this because it goes to show me that all Dell is interested in is the money and not meeting customers needs. This is junk! I will pay this little piece of junk off and I wont get anymore Dell computers! So heres your warning folks, stay away from this computer because you will regret this purchase without a doubt!

After downloading Office 365 and deleting games there is not sufficient memory to update Windows 10. Very poor. I expected more from Dell. Slow to load.
