Its small, still powerful. Windows 8 is really slow on this laptop but the whole experience will change after the windows 8.1 upgrade.

I did not get it from Flipkart, got it from a retail store. I faced a lot of issues with this one, but there was a free upgrade available. so upgraded to Win8.1 and removed MC Afee antivirus. The antivirus is the main culprit which spoils the whole experience. once i removed it and installed Windows defender, it was all fine. :) So all the guys who found it to be slow and all, please try uninstalling the antivirus and try it.

Dell?s Inspiron 11 3000 Series Touch, has an 11.6-inch screen, a Celeron dual-core processor and 2GB of memory, though it comes with 500GB of storage and gets an estimated 8.3 hours on a full battery. This Dell model is not a convertible laptop. With convertibles, the screen can fold back beneath the keyboard ? or in some instances detach from the keyboard ? so it can function as a tablet. Touchscreen for the PC is however still a controversial issue for conventional PCs/laptops. Apple has stayed away from Touchscreens in its desktop/laptop products. "I can work 10 times faster with a mouse and keyboard than with any touch screen", says an Apple user. Yeah. But what if you don't have a keyboard? This is definitely not a workstation in any way, so in case you're looking at raw power, check out something with a 'i' range processor. For casual use, browsing the web, etc., this is more than sufficient. The screen is sharp, the touch is responsive and an upgrade to Windows 8.1 breathes some fresh air into the machine for sure. In short, buy it if all you want is a light computer that is portable and can run the office suite, iTunes and do some basic tasks. For raw power, considering increasing your budget and buy something with atleast 4GB RAM and an i5 (4th gen).

Once uninstalled the Mcafee antivirus, performance improved to usable state... Looking for suitable antivirus for the laptop...

I got this laptop . good thing is very sleek and budget laptop with touch. touch is very good . remember day u get it upgrade it to 8 gb or 4 gb sodimm 1600 MHz 1.35 v ram and njoy the speed 2gb default ram is not enough of win8 64 bit

Good for light usage. Comes with a 2GB RAM, hence cannot support heavy applications such as several games. Multi-tasking is difficult. However, if you use it for 1 or 2 simple uses, its a great machine. Light weight & and has long battery life. Dell support is great too.

I bought it from open market,the price flipkart is offering is very good..I am not fully satisfied,somehow slow and hangs at times. But audio is really great(if you watch movies with headphones on) decent deal to grab..

if it is possible to upgrade d processor to i5 & d Ram at least to 4GB, then this does a best performance, and add a value to best buy.

I got this laptop from my company for office use. Screen is too small to work on. Touch support is quite good. Processor is Celeron 1.4 Ghz with 2GB RAM, hence I will recommend go for other processors in same price range.(No harm if you pay more for good processor than this) Battery backup is relatively good.

Well, product on look wise, design has no competition. It has got good sensitive touch screen and very good sound quality. But when it comes to real performance it lags behind. Even during very normal functions like working on excel, ppt or paint, the processor sometimes becomes too slow. Every time I try to open task manager, it takes a lot of time to get opened.

In this laptop is it possible to upgrade a RAM to 2gb to 4gb because a laptop processor are slow and can't do even a basic work so 4gb RAM are most need for faster work

laptop was very slow... but once you upgrade to win 8.1 and remove mcafee and ms-sql... you will get the right speed for the paid system configuration....

I wanted a small screen laptop with touch screen. So got this piece which matched my every wish . But I did not pay attention to the configuration because the lappy belonged to DELL , I trusted the brand and now I'm frustrated with the product. Touch is good not bad , you can update to future OS , battery life okayish but the laptop is so so slow that even a turtle can beat it in race . Don't go for it and DELL should discontinue this laptop .

Laptop performance is very slow... when I see the task manager, most of the CPU usage is with the OS itself... Win8 is a very bad option on this laptop. I'm having 15Mbps internet, but with this laptop that lighting speed is mere useless.

I got this laptop a month ago, There was a 30 days replacement, but before 30 days both flipkart and Dell dint help my problem.Still I am struggling to get a solution. I face a prob in case of Processing and touch screen. Warranty wise I got a product which already one month warranty over, I confirm the same from Dell customer care. Request to help anyone what to approach for better performance :-(

Friends kindly dont buy this product as warranty is not there I got this laptop yesterday only....I can't except that dell can make such products very bad in speed not even a single thing is working on it...plz do buy this product

All that glitters is not gold. Jazzy look and touchscreen. I want a laptop to open the file explorer without waiting for 5-8 minutes. My work suffers because of this product. Buy a snail, but not this laptop.

I purchased this laptop and returned in 2 days, speed is very slow, didn't meet expectations. I used dell earlier and felt this time again that dell laptops are not right choice.

i placed order on 10th july 2015 and received the laptop on 16th july 2015. suddenly the product is not working from tomorrow and when i try to contact DELL exclusive store, malda , west bengal , they informed that my product is out of warranty and the actual date of purchase is 26th november 2013. as per flipkart executive , DELL store should call flipkart for that.

I have purchased this product from Flipkart, on July 28th, when I received this product and checked the warranty status, I was shocked to see the warranty already expired on July 8th. I called Dell India team and reported the incident for warranty. They asked for Invoice, and I gave the invoice which flipkart sends. Another shocking news!! Dell did not accepted the invoice which I received from Flipkart as it does not contain any Tax Details and the Dealer Stamp. I asked Flipkart Team to provide me help on the same but its almost 1 month now, they aren't able to get me the warranty.They just create the incidents but there executives never gave a satisfied answer to me. Finally, I approached the Flipkart seller to help me on the same the name is "Joyful Deals" doesn't provide any joy in any deal seriously. I am still waiting for the invoice from the seller so that I can get the warranty for my product. Please check the warranty of this product when you purchase it.
