Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has been quite active in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment with its Note series of smartphones. The manufacturer ventured into a higher price segment last year with the ambitious Coolpad Max (Review), but it was relatively expensive and sure enough, got a massive Rs 11,000 discount less than six months later.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is a well configured device from the Chinese smartphone maker. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with backlit capacitive touch buttons below it. Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage which is non expandable. The Cool Play 6 is a dual-SIM device with support for 4G and VoLTE. It has a 4000mAh battery which should be able to power it for more than a day. The Cool Play 6 runs on Coolpad's Journey UI on top of Android Nougat.
