Bad product, does not cool, malfunctions in 4 weeks. Flipkart refuses return, Carrier refuses service

Right from the get go, the advertised "louver memory" function DID NOT WORK. The AC does NOT remember where you set the louver (flipper) and you have to adjust it manually everytime you switch the AC on. Each press of the "Flip direction" button only flips it 10 degrees, unlike other brands out there. This means you have to press it repeatedly till you get the position you want.
But the major issue is, it stopped cooling on the 4th week. I went to the orders page and clicked the Return button, mentioned the issue in the comments box, gave my info and hit submit. Flipkart refuses to honour the return, saying the request was done outside of the stipulated time period. What? I used the return button on your website!
Carrier refuses to service the AC too, the service center is absolutely USELESS. So now I'm stuck with a defective AC that can't cool, and can't be replaced. Thanks flipkart! Thanks Carrier!
