Fujifilm has launched X-T100 as the company's latest product in the X-series of mirrorless cameras in India. The key highlights of the X-T100 SLR-style mirrorless interchangeable lens camera are automatic scene recognition, a three-way tilting touchscreen, and Bluetooth connectivity. The new Fujifilm X-T100 camera fits between the other entry-level models - X-A5 and X-T20 - was first unveiled in May this year. The price of the Fujifilm X-T100 has been set at Rs. 47,999 for body-only.

The Fujifilm X-T100 will be available in India as a kit with the Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens at Rs. 54,999, while the XT100 dual-kit with Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens and XC50-230mm F4.5-6.7 OIS II lens has been priced at Rs. 70,990. However, as we mentioned, the body-only model will be available for Rs. 47,999. Notably, the XT100 comes in three colour variants - Black, Dark Silver, and Champagne Gold.

In terms of features, the Fujifilm X-T100 comes with a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that the company claims to be "14 times bigger than the sensor inside a conventional smartphone." The camera T100 features a phase detection autofocus (PDAF) system and a newly developed autofocus algorithm that promises to offer faster and precise focusing. It gets the 2,360K-dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) that we last saw on the X-T20. It also sports a 3-inch TFT LCD 1,040K-dot fully articulating touchscreen. It has an ISO range of 200-12800, and this can be boosted to 100-51200. Also, the Japanese firm said the Fujifilm X-T100 offers a continuous drive mode of 6fps. Also, it's capable of shooting 4K UHD (3840x2160 pixels) video at 15fps.

The X-T100 is compatible with Fujifilm's X Mount lens range, including the latest electronic zoom lens, the XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, Micro-HDMI, and Microphone. The Bluetooth low energy technology ensures automatic transfer of images to paired smartphones and tablet devices, using the Fujifilm Camera Remote app. The X-T100's battery is rated to deliver 430 shots per charge, which is quite impressive. It measures in at 121x83x47mm and weighs 448 grams including the battery. The X-T100 features a three-way tilting LCD monitor, high resolution and high magnification (0.62x) organic EL electronic viewfinder, and battery capable of 430 frames per charge, the company says.

Also, the Fujifilm X-T100 offers 11 variations of Fujifilm's Film Simulation Modes and 17 variations of Advanced Filters. In addition, the various setting can be adjusted with a one-step operation via the function dial, exposure compensation dial, or touch-and-flick function on rear LCD monitor, the company claimed. Meanwhile, the 26 lenses of Fujifilm's lineup covers a focal length range from 15mm to 1200mm, including zoom and prime lenses.
