Fujifilm India launches FinePix SL1000 camera with 50x optical zoom

Fujilfilm has announced the launch of FinePix SL100 fixed-lens camera with 50x optical zoom.

Fujilfilm FinePix SL1000 comes with a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch BSI-CMOS sensor with an ISO range 100-12800. The camera comes with autofocus speed of 0.2 seconds and a continuous shooting mode that lets you click 10 frames per second at full resolution.

The 50x zoom lens on the SL1000 offers a shooting range of 1cm super macro to a 1200mm extreme telephoto and an aperture of f/2.9 to f/6.5. The camera offers an 'Intelligent Digital Zoom' that doubles the focal length to 2400mm, or 100x zoom.

Fujilfilm FinePix SL1000 is capable of recording full-HD video at 60fps and stereo sound. The camera is capable taking MPO compliant 3D still images. It comes with a 3.0-inch 180 degrees tilting LCD monitor and a rechargeable Li-ion battery NP-85 and battery charger BC-85A. Image filters such as Pop Color, Toy Camera, Miniature 5, Partial Color, High Key, Cross Screen and Soft focus are thrown-in alongside raw shooting mode as well as a motion panorama mode.

Fujilfilm FinePix SL1000 comes with a warranty of two years and is now available at all leading retail stores across India for Rs. 29,999.
