Blueair Pure 121 Room Air Purifier User Reviews and Ratings

I have done a thorough study of hydraulics for air purification in my house. I have an Air Quality Monitor at home, and hence do not need one on my purifier. Blueair 121 offers the maximum cleaning capacity you can get in INR 25,000. It has one integrated filter which can last for 12 to 18 months even if you run your purifier 24x7 / 365 (like I do).This is a simple machine but worth every penny I spend on it.

Have tried a few purifiers and have now switched to these. Just vacuum every week to 10 days and they last long. No aqi reading, no gizmos but very effective.

exevkkent value for money purifier. Great design and simple one button operation. Does the job extremely well. Have been using it everyday since 12th Nov and feel the air to be a lot lot lot better. Will strongly recommend to buy this for living rooms and which have dining areas also included. However, doesn?t show the PM number which is ok for me cause I already have a Philips one too which shows the reading.

Have tried other good brands but this is clearly the best with largest and 360 degree filter. Best at what it is supposed to do. Would have been better if it had washable pre-filter. Very low noise and built to last. Amazon should also sell its filter.

Good simple to operate product with minimal features. However there are no sensors for particulate count etc

Value for money and is the most powerful purifier at home. Does the basic job of purifying really well. Go for it.

We purchased as 121 (as well as a Joy S / 411 in the US) and absolutely love both. After purchasing a separate air quality monitor, it was clear that they were working as advertised and did much better than our expectations. As expats living in Delhi, home to some of the worst air quality in the world, it was imperative for us to clean our in-home air as best as possible, and these are great and even look nice too. BUT, we also need to buy replacement filters as we are getting reimbursed, and our preference was to buy the machines and all the accessories all at once, and the filters for these, and for the Joy S are nowhere to be found. Blueair's classic products have filters that can be found anywhere, but not these, and that's making me a bit nervous. I've scoured Amazon, local shops, and have contacted Blueair multiple times without satisfactory response. I'm annoyed that the company has been ignoring me and what should be a simple question - "Where can I buy filters?". Silence. So, while I am over the moon with the product, support for the product is underwhelming at best. I'd honestly look for a different product since there are so many quality competitors on the market with accessible parts.

The worst machine bought in my life . Trusting the company was the biggest mistake. This machine does not have the features given in their own manual. The manual says the light will turn blue after which we can go and sleep peacefully. The catalog says it is ozone free but it has an ionizer which means it cannot ever be completely ozone free . And ozone is a dangerous element in the air which can kill a person even in small sizes taken regularly. You can Google this info easily. Please do not buy this machine trusting any salesman. I bought it and when I called the sales person. He tried to tell.me the white light is actually blue and it turns blue when the air is cleaned by the machine. But I showed him the white light turns lighter white within a few seconds of turning the machine on Everytime. Proving clearly that even before the machine has started cleaning it turns light white.. There is no after sales support except when you threaten them we will give correct review. The sales person will only stick to his point that the white you see is actually blue. The machine does not even have the basic pre filter which even a basic air conditioner or even a basic cheapest air purifier has. Recommend to see from of other makes also and decide . Do not be gullible and fooled by this companies massive internet presence without any good sales network. Even the dealers addresses listed at malls are closed for over 1 year. So you have no option but to either buy online or order from.their sales team . They do not even show demo before paying up. After that it as usual but the white you see is blue. Fooling around

Design is silly, no handles to hold a heavy unit. There is no pre-filter to capture bigger particles. Technical support in India got irritated with my questions when they had no answer on why there is no pre-filter. No warranty if hepa goes off in less than stipulated time. No indication of air quality nor auto switch off or slow down. it's like a big dumb box. All dealers pushing for this product because of higher margins, but it is a useless product. I returned mine to Sargam the day before.

I bought the Air purifier Blue Pure 121 two years ago and since then, it has become a headache to obtain the replacement filter. The original price of the filter by the Company is around INR 5800 but it is almost impossible to obtain and the delivery people say it won't be available till January 2021. The irony is the purifier is still on sale on several portals. What is the point in buying a purifier, the filter of which is not easily available or available at exorbitant prices. This is sheer cheating of customers. I guess there is no customer law to protect the customers. Even if there be a law, in India the the process of adjudication makes it a tiresomely long process. I will never recommend any Blueair product to anyone.
