The new Zenfone 4 series is now official, and it looks like Asus is taking a bottom-up approach with its mobile portfolio this time. The first models of this generation to launch in India are part of a new selfie series, and prices range from Rs. 9,999 to Rs. 23,999.
Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro Summary
The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro features a slim metal body, which makes it easy to carry around. The 5.5-inch Amoled display offers good colour saturation and viewing angles but sunlight legibility is a bit weak. The phone uses the Snapdragon 625 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. General UI performance is good and games are handled well. The front 12-megaixel sensor can shoot 4K video and the quality of stills is very good under good lighting. There’s a 24-megapixel DuoPixel mode, which essentially doubles the resolution but image quality isn’t always ideal. The 3000mAh battery offers good battery life but there’s no fast charging.
