Best Touch Screen on the Market for Now
Dennis (Jun 19, 2016)
on Amazon
Where do I begin? Well to start, the unit I received was not exactly like the one described. It was much better. The laptop is a touch screen. The speakers are not like a good home stereo, but much better than other laptops I've owned. The keyboard is raised and takes a bit of getting used to. It has all the features advertised and more. Processor is quick. Start up was easy. Not too excited about Windows 10 and how do I turn off updates? This unit may be the best priced touchscreen on the market. With the 1TB hard drive, 8MB ram, and Intel processor, it has a ton more than other brands. No problems with hang ups or locking. Smooth as can be. Does everything I need a laptop for and more.

Works like a charm. My wife likes it and is on it for a few hours everyday and has no complaints. She is getting use to the touch screen and still relies on the mouse a lot. Neither of us utilizes all the features yet. So far-so good.

Nice computer but won't turn on

Computer wouldn't turn on. The charger and battery were working fine because the light came on when plugged into the wall. Seems like a motherboard issue or something. Willing to give a second chance cause I like Asus

THE KEYBOARD IS IMPOSSIBLE TO USE!! The cursor jumps all over the screeN and ASUS cannot fix. Have passed 30 day window so no refund and still paying Amazon credit for defective product. I'm retired so this is a hard nut to swallow. WARNING: DO NOT BUY ANY ASUS PRODUCT AND DO NOT BUY ELECTRONIC ANYTHING FROM AMAZON!! Better to buy local where you can return or exchange!!!

"When it seems to good to be true - it probably is."

The moral of this purchase is: "When it seems to good to be true - it probably is."I loved my ASUS N53J and when it came time to buy another laptop I looked to ASUS. I didn't need as much functionality this time around. After scanning the ASUS751 reviews, it seemed like a great bargain. So much computer for such a little price. Nice big screen, touch-screen capability, excellent RAM and speed. BUT...The touchpad is continuously causing problems. It has an autozoom function that launches multiple times a day from errant swipes. It cannot be disabled (despite how-to instructions found on Google and YoutTube). So lots of wasted time readjusting the viewing size. Then the sensitivity suddenly changes from overly active to delayed - the touchpad not responding in real time. The computer comes with Windows 10 and the two do not play well together. Updates have crashed the computer and most recently, froze all functions - even the off and on functionality. When I went to take out the battery - this is the worst part of this computer's design - it cannot be removed without removing multiple screws, the whole "frame" over the keyboard, and plugs that keep the keybaord, function keys and touchpad working. It's a disastrous design. [...]Unfortunately by the time I discovered all these flaws, it was too late (by a few weeks) to return the computer - which I would have done in a flash. Even for the bargain price - I expected more from the ASUS brand. Very disappointing.
