Asus laptop is a good budget laptop. You can install win 8.0 or 8.1 and it runs smoothly. Flipkart service is great as usual.

good budget lap at this price, but it is very hard to find drivers if you install Windows 7..the lap comes with drivers for windows 8, I managed to use the drivers given in the Lap for few hardwares, still found it difficult to find drivers for USB 3.0, here in this ASUS we are unable to boot OS from pendrive.. Overall good lap at this budget

All the config is very well.such a great confit at that price is so good,a Great choice for windows 8 user,I recomend this for Daily use.Totally superb..

Playing Battlefield 4 since last 20 days@ room temperature (That Too on Windows 7 ) Difficult to run Windows 7 as Driver DVD preloaded with Windows 8 64 bit drivers but with Driverpack Solution, you can install all drivers except the AMD Catalyst Control Centre which can be installed using AMD Autodetect utility (else screen Brightness will not work) in Win 7 Ice Cool Technology seems to work as no heat issues even playing BF4 Works flawless in Windows 8 Note That Windows 7 is incompatible unless you are geek Installing Windows 7 using USB is difficult unless USB 3.0 support disabled in BIOS(This Option will be present only if BIOS is updated to ver 303) No such issue with Windows 8 5 stars for temperature and intense Gameplay with no lag

Have been using this laptop for around 20 days. Best value for money at 22k-24k range. It works well with Ubuntu 14.04 and had graphics issues with 12.04. Ubuntu 14.04 with unity is stable without any issues. So, it is better to install Ubuntu 14.04 and update than to go for older linux distros. Windows 8.1 runs well too. The laptop is slim, weighs less, less noisy and doesn't heat up even after long period of use. The surfaces are not glossy and the build quality is good. It doesn't look cheap. The charger is sleek and compact. It consumes very less power. There is an slot for memory upgrade and i have upgraded it with a 4GB stick and the performance has improved. I am not a gamer but old games should run without much hiccups in low to medium settings. If you are a student or a professional who doesn't need much GPU power, this is the best choice for you. It performs decently on most applications. I checked most benchmarking sites and the processor beats all its competitors at this range. I can say its the best choice if your budget is below 30k. Anything more than this is a overkill. I bought it at 22k.

This is a one heck of a Laptop. Very awesome combo, all that you need in a normal basic laptop, and it is so cheap as well compared with the other brands. Initially i was skeptical about buying an Asus laptop, but after some research & reading all the reviews i decided to go for it. Body of the Laptop gives you rich feel & looks very stylish. Keypad is great, whereas touchpad is a Big one. Screen is matte so wont have trouble it using under the sun/against the light, as we face in glare finished screen. Adaptor is small, nice & trendy little one. Battery backup is great about 3.30 - 4 hrs. Sound is descent enough. I installed a windows 8.1 32 bit, works like charm, wanted a 64 bit version but i couldn't find, & i couldnt wait long enough for the same as well. I ran this for 4 hrs continuous, as i wanted to check the AMD processor, as they arel known to heat up quickly. But to my surprise, as committed its an Ice Cool Processor, still had no issue of heating, working as cool as a cucumber ) ) All in all a best in its Class, budgeted Laptop, Can Buy it eyes closed.....

I exchanged my old laptop and bought this. Build quality is good, performance is okayish. Does what a laptop of this price point is supposed to do. Installing Win 7 is a tough work on this as it has USB 3.0. It is a laptop built to accommodate Win 8. Overall, a very good product.

budget laptop for daily usage and mid level gaming(it many not play new games but you can play battlefield 4, sniper ghost warrior 2 (low level setting ) , far cry 3 hit man absolution). Nice battery backup i usually get 4-5 hours on watching movies and browsing net .windows 8 boots very fast.laptop is very slim and adapter is also very small compared to all other laptop manufactures like dell , HP etc. Cons : only disappointment is with camera but in this price range we can adjust thanks to flipkart for super offer i got it for 19k change

I bought asus after seeing rating here. Realy its superb laptop, work like anything. Sound quality simply superb i didn't expect this much. I have installed many tools and i am using like developers machine. I am using to design web applications, really its work fine for me. Screen resolution pretty awesome. We can buy blindly this one.

Received a laptop with broken screen , flipkart replaced it in just two days... :) This laptop is a giant one amazing sound average display, powerful machine, and can run win 8.1 + ubuntu 14.04 together in dual boot mode... bought it at 21K only ... best buy even under 32k range of other branded laptops... go for it...

As an AMD Fan this is my second product of AMD. This laptop is fastest to boot windows 8 (64 bit) ever seen as compare to other brand laptops and there higher configuration. I found this laptop has all the features those comes in higher range laptops. I am happy that my investment is fulfilled.Lastly this laptop never gets warmer !!!

The only con in this product is that it does not come with pre installed OS and of the two usb ports only one is usb3.0 while the other one is 2.0. Minus that and what you have with you is perhaps the best value for money which you can ever have. This product from ASUS has an awesome battery life, more than enough power packed under its hood, convenient key spacing leading to impressive tying speed, light weight thereby making it less strenuous while carrying it around. Its been 4months I have been using this product and there has been no problem of overheating, the sound quality is intact and for all those who are entangled in the web of intel vs amd , a simple advice would be " chuck it" . Its a myth that amd devices are not upto the standard and this ASUS product drives home this point. *****

Bought this after many comparisons in 20K. It has performed well until now. Video quality is awesome.Played some 1920x1080 movies, they played without any lag or blur. Games like pes 15 which are not resource heavy play real smooth. Cant tell about fifa though. No complaints whatsoever yet. Hence 5 stars. Its ASUS after all !!!!!!! :)

Laptop is very good in function and elegant in design. Up to now, I've no issues with it. Of course, it is glossy, so you can't use it fully under sun, display gets reflected. Battery is good, coming almost 3 hrs with online connectivity and 5-6 hrs without any internet connection. touchpad is fine and smooth. You can buy it. It is also very strong.

good laptop,batery backup about 3hrs ,sound is best feature of this... but unable to control/reduce brightness of screen.can anyone help me get out of this?

I am using this laptop nearly for 4 months . Best one for the price range I have installed Windows 8.1 Pro works like a charm.. There is some issues if u install windows 7 (drivers) but U can find lot drivers from website ...@@@@ Needs some Tweak

I have been using this laptop since the past 5 months and it has been serving me quite well. the battery easily lasts about 2 - 2.5 hours on moderate usage. If i use it just to read pdfs or make presentations, it lasts close to 3 hours. the speakers are awesome, not good for music but definitely good enough for watching movies. comfortable large keyboard with well spaced keys. a large touchpad as well. sleek and light to carry around if you have large hands and the laptop looks good as well. i have been using windows 8 on it and it runs perfectly well. i think its a good deal for a laptop under 25k

Just worth for Money. Single mic pin Display very bad Build quality not good. Performance good, Working on multi OS(Linux & Windows 8), even though Performance never dragged. Sound Awesome. Battery Back up good never gets heat - ice cool working awesome.

Bought this laptop a few days ago from Flipkart and must say am extremely satisfied with the product. For less than Rs 25000 the laptop has amazing specs and gives optimum performance. The battery too works for a little over 2 hours if you are watching a movie or playing music. Although I am running Linux on it and can't say about the performance of the laptop with Windows 8. Overall a good buy if you are looking for a budget laptop.

I had a real big problem without Win 8 I wanted Win7 on it a and it was very difficult to find drivers for Win7 or any non Win8 OS. But yes if you search enough you will find them all from here and there and it runs Win7 well

Works well without issues. Touch pad buttons are pretty hard by design and hence much comfortable with an external mouse. the machine does not heat up at all. all the parts feel very cool. Only windows 8 and 8.1 drivers available. If you're looking for windows 7 and other OS, then you'll have a tough time. Ubuntu also found it difficult to install and ubuntu also had issues with audio. Ubuntu LTS 2014.04 might help. haven't tried as it is now running well with windows 8.1. longing to try new ubuntu shortly. Overall great machine for the price.

I bought this laptop recently from flipkart, which was delivered to me well-packaged. At this price, it is definitely value for money, and so far, I have not experienced any performance issues. The in-built speakers are quite decent, something I've always wanted in a laptop. Overall, I must say this purchase is recommended !

for the budget of 23000 this is the best available laptop... the laptop starts quickly, speakers are loud enough, battery charges quickly (as well as drains quickly), it doesn,t get heated up and performs well, touchpad has lot of useful gesture supports and it comes with the driver cd for windows 8... on the other hand the fit and finish could have been better, the keyboard and the back panel of the screen have a slight play in them and due to some reason you cannot adjust the screen brightness.. overall the laptop is worth the price and flipkart in a day delivery is amazing!
