Well, i was previously using a system with i5 processor,4gb ram and 1 gb graphic card. I needed to buy a laptop urgently . I used my laptop just for browsing internet and watching movies. So, i thought to myself...maybe this laptop shud serve my purpose too. This laptop is nt meant for heavy tasks. It can pretty much handle small taks. Windows 8.1 runs smoothly. Its a 100% value for money. I do not regret buyin this. Well, if you're into gaming and stuffs...then u shud look somewhere else.

Pros: Gives better than expected performance (casual work, multimedia) Gotta love the installed track-pad gesture functions Has a single Smartphone-type 3.5mm port for mic/headphones (use of headsets possible) Cons: Screen quality isn't very good but it's still good enough for watching movies Lacks ODD but it's not required that badly since we use USB devices more these days Has a single Smartphone-type 3.5mm port for mic/headphones (stereo recording not possible) Comes with DOS installed. Make sure you know how to install Windows/OS using a USB Overall: Great buy. I'm tech-savvy, and yet it does its job quite well.

I wanted a spare laptop. And this one is well within the cheaper range but better configuration. Battery is irreplaceable. But stands for good 3hrs. Laptop is specifically designed for Windows8 and higher. Look and feel is good. Worth buying for the basic home needs and surfing purpose.

just go for it.... i baught it from flip kart & I'm glad to say that it's a value for money product for a college student or home user

Friends I have purchase this laptop and satisfied with this. I install win 7 and win 8 its work smoothly and I use Dreamweaver, Tally, SAP B1, SAP R3 and Photoshop and also Play Game Like COD and NFS

If you are looking for 15" laptop with basic config this is best for you. Cons : Bad Build Quality Touchpad Little Tricky No Optical Drive [ Not A Big Prob ] Only 2 USB [ Not A Big Prob ] Only White Color But if you are in budget this is best for you in this ranger i guess.

When I got this laptop .. I was worried for how to install another OS in it. But booting from USB drive and installing windows 8 now it feels relaxed. It works so smooth in windows 8. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or 12.04 LTS is also good option for professionals. Its booting/ start-up time is also very good (less than 5 sec. ) Outer looks are too good. Ya but keyboard and touchpad is of bad quality specially for rough handler, game addicted person like me. So overall Very good product worth for investing 17K.

Hi all, I want to know its webcam quality in Video calls. My usage will be mainly video calling and normal internet surfing. Wold you recommend this ? Please comments friends.

Bought and using this Laptop for about a few months now. My personal Assessment: Pros: 1. Quite nice laptop given its a Celeron Dual Core 2. Chiclet Keyboard (May be a problem for some, but I prefer chiclet keyboards) 3. RAM upgrade ability to 4GB (On board 2GB) 4. Runs XP, VIsta, 7, 8 Seamlessly with 64 Bits 5. Big Screen with decent screen contrast OKs 1. Not having a DVD Drive (Although a provision is there, since the slot is there, and the cover can be removed) 2. Having only 2 Slots for USB (Has one HDMI Port though) Cons 1. Charger quality is questionable, broke when accidentally dropped from a very low height, my bad :( 2. Key board is not back lit. 3. Touchpad not good 4. Bluetooth Drivers non responsive for Windows 8 Ultimate edition 5. Multi Tasking abilities are limited, as the machines hangs frequestly 6. Battery back up is maximum of 90 Minutes (Not Acceptable) even with a single program running. Over all a OK Laptop with a Good Price for normal office job,

If you want it for simple home usage by those new to laptop usage, this is a good options. Large screen and full keyboard. Battery will run upto 3 hours which is OK for this price range. Overall performance is OK for home usage.

i was surprised when i received this product. it is just a replica e-toys for learning learning in Nursery and kingdegarteng schools. very light in weight, battery not detachable, diffcult to install install windows operating system from USB.

price is ok , but suppoert from asus is 0 , if u want to install other that win 8 , no drivers support from asus. pain in some where

the delivery is very bad now days from flipkart. i had to wait for 1 week they inform me n i had to go to dere delivery centre to pick it up. But the laptop is good. As per the budget it worth money. U get all the function if u buy a dell or hp laptop worth 30k.

Failed after two months. Motherboard failed and has shelfed the item... Worst purchase

I had difficulty in installing windows on the laptop that was delivered to me. I ultimately called up the Asus service center and they sent a service engineer to have it checked. He verified that the hard disk was defective. I have requested flipkart as well as Asus for replacement. It has been more then two weeks now, I am yet to get a replacement.

In description it says it comes with core i3. where as it's a dual core celeron processor.. Dont misguide the buyer.

there no dvd w/r in it touch pad is too hard laptop going heat in some minute cheap materials used, seller is not giving refund or return very very bad
