Best buy. 256 GB SSD, UHD Intel integrated Graphic processor are the highlights. Got it for 40 K. Using from last four days. and the Battery backup is also good. Sound quality is not at all bad. You can easily install Ubuntu by adding boot option. Ubuntu 18.04 LTS on this laptop is a real joy.

Great purchase with great performance. 256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD doing great storage with SSD super speed. Also it comes with 8 GB RAM that is also addn fo speed. Finally overall great laptop for peronal use and also for Programmig. 👍

Zero STAR to Flipkart for POOREST packing I have ever seen for such a product, Flipkart box was clearly over-sized, Crushed & very Cheap in quality and that too without any Cushioning (Air packs were totally flat) ...have a look on images, thanks to God, my laptop reached in good condition!! Although, the laptop is performing really well so far, will update my reviews after using it for a week or so. As of Now, FIVE STARS ***** to ASUS for this product @ 40K. good but ssd speed is not so fast like SanDisk or Samsung

Pros: +Amazing Design: 1.3kg weight and 1.8cm thickness which almost rivals Macbook. +Great Quality: The lid is made of metal but the chassis is made of plastic with metallic finish. Most of the other laptops at this price gives plastic lid as well. +Crisp Display: It has 14" 1080p IPS LED display with great contrast, colors and viewing angles. It also gets a lot brighter! +Small Bezels at the sides: 0.7cm bezels at both the sides, whereas 1.4cm bezel at the top and 2.4cm bezel at the bottom which gives it a modern look. +Backlit keyboard: White LEDs having 3 levels of intensity. +Fingerprint Sensor: It's quick and registers the fingerprint 100% of the times if you place it finger correctly (which you won't do 10% of the times (: ). Will test it more and then edit the stats of this one. +256 GB SSD! (Cant find this size of SSD paired with 8th Gen processor under this price range). For a 512GB SSD, you'll have to increase your budget to 75k! +Boot time is around 7-8 seconds, thanks to the SSD. +Great Battery: Lasted for 7-8 hours on web surfing over WiFi and coding. +Fast Charge: It does charge from 0-60% in 50mins as Asus claims! +Genuine Windows 10 +2 Years of Onsite Warranty: Instead of 1 year which is provided by most of the brands out there. +Many Ports available: One USB 3.1 Type-C, One USB 3.1, Two USB 2.0, One HDMI,and One SD Card which is great for such a thin laptop. +ASUS IceCool Technology: The palm rest area, and the overall laptop, stays cool even after long hours of usage. The normal heat produced is usually at the bottom of the back of the chassis. Cons: -Speaker Volume: The sound clarity is clear but the volume is too low. It'll be fine in a quiet room but it's useless in outdoor and noisy locations. -Speaker Placement: It's placed at the bottom of the laptop. It'll be okay on a flat surface but will get suppressed on a soft surface like pillow or a bed. -No extra RAM slot: The laptop cant be upgraded to 16GB RAM. If you want to do that, you'll have to remove the 8GB RAM and insert 16GB RAM instead. -No LAN port -WebCam: It has an extremely poor 480p VGA webcam. -The Caps Lock button doesn't has any LED indicator. Neutral: #Delete button is near power the button. Need to be careful with that. #No numpad: Can't even expect it in 14" laptop actually. #Windows 10 1803 Fall Creators Update isn't installed by default. Need to update it. #High Pixel Density problem: Screen size is 14" and it has 1920x1080p display. Hence the text, icons and overall screen would become too small for comfort. So by default, Windows has set the scaling to 150% so everything is zoomed in (and feels normal!). But the problem is that many old softwares which dont support high pixel density causes text and pictures to be slightly blurred (one such software which I found was Code::Blocks C++ IDE. Other powerful IDE and text editors like VS Code, Atom, IntelliJ, Android Studio works great). #Light and Thin design: HDD, RAM, SSD are embedded in motherboard itself. You may require to replace the motherboard if anything goes wrong. It requires more care and precaution while using. #No DVD Drive. #It's not possible to open the laptop with one hand. #The lid can wobble easily on flicking it. It might get troublesome in a moving vehicle like Bus. #No MS Office built in. #CyberLink Video Editor present built in. #1 month of McAfee antivirus free trial present. #Asus Bloatwares: It's less in number than many other laptops. All of them can be uninstalled. Many of them can be useful like the product registration app, asus display color settings app, sound management app, battery management app etc. # No dedicated GPU: Can't expect a dedicated GPU in a 1.3kg laptop anyway. The Integrated Intel UHD 620 is more than enough for everyday work. Paired with SSD, it can do 1080p video editing rendering. #It's not made for gaming. Most of the games like Fortnite, GTA 5, Witcher 3 etc gives 20-25fps on Low settings. Verdict: The product was sold at 41k during sale (13k off) which is a steal. But, even for 54k price tag, it is a great deal! Buy if: You want extreme portability, amazing design and display, long battery backup with fast charging, huge SSD (at this price) with 8th gen processor and a backlit keyboard! Don't buy it if: You want to play AAA titles which came out after 2010, do 4K video editing (1080p video editing will be fine on this laptop, but I would recommend going up to the i5 8th Gen variant instead, or S15 variant with MX110), execute operations which depends upon the GPU (like video rendering, deep learning, cryptocurrency mining etc to name a few).

Awesome product. SSD breezes through all the tasks.

Pros: 1. Anti glare display with great quality 1920*1080, Wide angle view and IPS display 2. No graphics card but it can even play Battlefield 4 without any lag. So far I have tried this game only. No heating problem after 2 hours of playing. 3. SSD offers amazing boot up time of around 5-6 seconds. 4. 1 TB of another hard disk offers a great storage capacity. 5. 7-8 hours of battery back up. 6. Full charge in approximately 1 hour due to its fast charging support. 7. Great looks with metallic lid however the rest is not metallic. Even though I felt a metallic touch all over the body. 8. Light weight and slim design make me feel comfortable. 9. Thin bezel makes it look great. Cons: No cons for me. If you compare it with MacBook then spend more bucks. There is no DVD drive but who cares? External DVD drive costs only Rs. 1.5K and with it, the laptop would not have been looking great with its slim design. This Laptop has exceeded my expections by a mile, and my expectations were already very high. bought it during sale but even at the current price its a great buy. lets start with some of the pros: + 8th gen i3: very few laptops available in India with this processor, perfect for my office use case. +256gb ssd: Unheard of at this price point. my friends 70k gaming laptop came with a 128gig one. +full hd screen: the screen is crisp, gets bright and is fine for office use. +build quality: 14" is a great size for a laptop, its light, well built. lid is metallic, rest of the body is plastic but it looks premium at all angles. +backlit keyboard: nice feature to have +fingerprint scanner: again, a nice feature to have +type C usb: future ready for high speed data transfer There are no cons as such, for the price I feel like I would be complaining too much, but there are some areas that could be improved: -Webcam: its worse than my 10 year old lenovo, not even kidding. -speakers: they sound hollow and distant and are located under the laptop, but for a impromptu binge session theyre fine conclusion: get this laptop if youre not into gaming and are gonna use it for light office, college and media applications. there is literally nothing comparible to it at this price point.

So far its amazing. My last laptop was of HP and in this I noticed one more thing apart from other reviews that to see if Caps is on or not there is no blinker on keyboard. Otherwise no issues. Its best

at this price range 1tb hdd plus 256ssd u cant get this storage. light weight easy to carry ,beautiful and good battery life. just two cons- vga camera and its speaker. i am happy with what i get at this prie range . just go for it. camera doesnt matter at all for me.

Well for the price this really gives the more expensive ultrabooks a run for there money, they may have a slimmer profile but this packs a lot more hardware at a lot slimmer profile and less weight. SSD+HDD, makes storage ample and the boot times are great within 20 sec at default windows settings. The new 8th gen core line up from intel has true quad core i3 (previously i5) which offer plenty of performance for day to day task. I would have preferred a dedicated GPU even a Nvidia 920 level would have sufficed, the UHD 620 integrated is just barely enough. Also dual channel ram would have been nice, but single 8 GB can keep up for day to day tasks. A killer feature is back-lit keyboard with adjustable brightness which many more expensive laptops give a miss. Sound is abysmal, really low output, but its nonetheless clear. would recommend a wireless headset or speakers for optimal experience. Battery life is another great point, gives upto 4-6 Hrs depending on usage (brightness, WiFi etc). Not much bloatware pre-loaded so kudos to Asus for keeping it simple. Body is plastic but looks premium due to brushed finish (got the gold one). Wife was more than happy with it, so am happy. She wanted a lightweight decent laptop and this nailed it.

its been a month that i have been using the laptop now the machine works like a breeze ! it had an issue related to touchpad hardware which the service centre fixed for free. but the laptop is ofcourse a great machine... it starts n shuts in less than half a minute - thanks to the powerhouse. amazingly lightweight, tottaly workfriendly, really hd display, appreciable battery life, SSD is a huge plus, audio too is very pleasant.

This surely is a good laptop at a low cost. This laptop is recommended for all office and home activities. It?s processor too amazes me which has a overclocking capacity up to 3.4 GHz. This is ideal for gaming and can support new games but at a low frame rate.
