So far so good.

Great value. Runs fast enough for my DAW (cakewalk) which takes up significant ram but this computer keeps chugging along without any lag. Battery life is short but that?s the only con. Make sure you switch to windows 10 from ?S? mode, and install any available updates- I had trouble with internet connection dropping and Tabs not opening before the updates, but now everything runs smoothly.If you?re on a budget I highly recommend checking this out, and unless you need a serious gaming computer or are running highly complex programs (and to be fair I kind of do this without problems) this will meet your needs.

Good product, works with premiere pro like I needed. Simple. Keyboard does NOT light up. Battery life needs to stay on charger if you want to use it for any decent amount of time.

Got it for an acquittance. So far working great, a bit worried as an early adopter that it doesn't show up at ASUS official website. Upgrading (actually, replacing) from an Asus X54C from 2012 (6 years old, that I also recommended, same price point/bracket) that started to fail. The difference in speed/power is awesome. The power adapter is very tiny (I also have a thin Asus Zenbook with a compatible adapter that is about 150% the size of this one), even more compared to the power brick from before. The owner is hyper happy.Hopefully will last another 6+ years!

Was as described but just not for me

It?s loud. Not sure why but all I hear is this thing thinking and the noise comes from the speakers on the top. Aside from this it?s built poorly. Be very careful with it it?s very lightweight and as a result I think it?s made from foam. It is pretty fast so if your willing to wear earplugs and never move with it, it should get done what you need it too.

I bought this laptop a while back after doing research around the web for a laptop with my needs in mind, I came accross this and saw that the specs for this laptop were like other expensive laptops, but this one was the cheaper option. So I went with it and was dissapointed.To start, the laptop delivers on being lightwieght and it's battery life is alright, which would make it a decent laptop for on the go, if you have a protective case along with it to keep it from being damaged.But the issues are in performance. This laptop struggles to watch high definition youtube videos and Netflix applications. Additionally, the speakers are sometimes a bit crackly (perhaps a defect of my specific product).I also intended for this laptop to be able to run small indie games like: isometric rogue-likes or turnbased sandbox games on low settings, but it seems to barely run most games beyond 20 fps. Understandably, a laptop is not meant for gaming, but this is a new low than predicted.That said, I do regret my purchase of around $400, please only buy this with workplace/college use in mind.

My major complaint about this computer is the internet on it is terrible! I bought my wife a cheaper computer and using the same wifi connection hers is very fast while this one takes forever just to load a page. I noticed that the wifi adapter is not able to connect to the 5G network; so maybe that?s the problem. In addition to the internet the battery life is terrible. If it?s unplugged I am only able to get maybe 2 hours from it. I use Photoshop on it and the performance is decent. I don?t like the color and brightness of the screen so I always hook it up to an external monitor and then it is fine. My last complaint is this really feels like a cheap piece of plastic. I guess that helps with it being light weight; but it doesn?t feel sturdy at all.

I used this laptop gently and infrequently. I did the Asus bios update that Asus prompted me to do. I have the black screen of death. I've done all the possible fixes and now I own a brick. I've never had a laptop die so quickly.

The plus is the light weight. Overall, I have been very disappointed with this laptop.....the battery has been a problem from the beginning. Repair is in Texas and takes about 2 wks there and back which is a negative. The battery away from plug last only 30 min to one hour. Battery replaced after sending to repair, but not a big difference. I should have purchased an HP which had served me well over the years.

This computer is nice but the noise of the fan is incredibly loud. It was disturbing me so much that I had to return it.

Laptop fan was very loud. Speakers produced a lot of static. Returned.

The computer was unusable. I don't know if it was the bloatware or hardware, but nothing would load. Even web browsing had the speed of dial-up​.

I received this laptop quickly on a Tuesday, by Friday I had to return it. After updating and setting everything up I kept getting an error message "application blocked from accessing graphics hardware" whenever I would try to watch a video, which then would crash the computer. I searched online to try to find a fix including uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and more to no avail. The Amazon product assistance said it was probably a hardware issue and issued a refund.

We have barely used this laptop and the hard drive is fried, we put nothing on it and was for my son to play Minecraft and do school work this year. Of course it is too late to return it..not happy.
