Asus VivoBook 15 X510UF-EJ610T User Reviews and Ratings

Initially i was planning to buy asus k510uq which is of same price..i was lucky enough tat i got this laptop in stock...i exchanged my old laptop with 7k...and effectively i got this laptop for 42.5k..which is awsome considering its specs...hp sells its laptop with such specs along with mx150 graphics for 90k...Initial impressions:1.build quality is excellent2.display is punchy and is best for the price..brightness is adequate for outdoor use..i bet even dell or hp cant provide such display for 70k3.very thin at just 1.9cm4.Mx150 graphics..i downloaded pubg right after unboxing...gameplay play was excellent5.it has m2.slot ssd...definitely gonna upgrade with ssd in the near future6.i didnt like the keyboard though..key travel could be better7.battery life is excellent considering its thickness..dont expect battery to be fantastic as this laptop is too thin..youtube reviews might discourage about its battery life..but its comes with fast charging which will come handy8.i just scratched my head..when i checked its front camera..its a disaster..dnt expect u ll use it once u buy this laptop9.lots of ports...10.i think S series asus laptop are useless..as this laptop is upgradable with ssd ..and its lot cheaper...u can buy 120gb ssd for just 4k..dont even think b4 buying this laptop..just go for it....its worth every penny......peace!!!!

Compact sleekFine lightLiterally one of the best at its job

Games work very good.It has a MX150-1010 version so no need to worry. Sound is Average.Display is good but viewing angles are fine.Very good battery life and fast charging.Has gotten a bit slow but maybe it's due to 5400 rpm HDD. I am giving this review after 15 days .Better than Aspire 5 if u get this below 50K

This laptop is well balanced with style and power. Light weight, backlit keyboard, good display quality are welcome features. It has good configuration without compromising power. Overall it a value for money laptop.

I like it very much backlit keyboard with a good display it looks very slim and light and it is I loved it you should buy as I have done lot of basis to find ideal laptop for me it's a good deal

graphic card comes mx150 make huge difference than other laptop in this budget yes its not ODD and RJ45 but nowdays router have wifi hotspot and it have AC 2*2 6x fast than any other wifi speed ..great decision to buy after lot of research must buy

This review is after 4 days of usage.Pros:10-15 second boot/shut down time. 30 second restart time. SSD like performance.Backlit keyboard. Optane memory works as expected.You can get additional 1 year warranty for Rs. 100 and for total three years for Rs. 1499.Overall, good value for money. The only laptop in this price range with that good specs.Decent build quality.Weight 1.7 kg.Slightly smaller than my previous 15.6 inch 'HP Envy 6 1003tx'.Backlit keyboard.Cons:Below average display quality. If you are into photo/video editing you must use a separate good quality monitor for that purpose.Speakers are average. Not too good, nor too bad.The color of laptop is not as shown in pics here. It is not silvery grey as shown. It is dark grey. Color of the LCD back panel is different (darker) than the body body of the laptop. Looks elegant though.Keyboard feedback is not good. Though you will get used to it I guess.Have not tried any games yet, but if you are heavy gamer, you may want add 4GB ram to it.Whenever the fan runs, its noisy.

Im putting this review after a week of use.. I bought it for 50k.Mx 150 is a beast of an entry level GPU, and at this price, it's a steal! Ive tried watch dogs 2, AC origins and Dishonored 2. All AAA games run at 720p easily.Battery life is quite nice. I easily get 6 hours with light internet surfing and Netflix.Display is 1080p, not the best viewing angles but at this price it's quite decent.Backlit keyboard. No caps lock light, and the feedback isn't the best. Still getting used to typing :PI mostly use headphones so haven't tested its speakers.Support for Intel optane memory is a plus if you want to keep this HDD but want near SSD level performance.I bought it primarily for gaming. Doesn't disappoint there. Its not the fastest laptop in the world, but I suppose that's due to the aging 5400RPM hard drive. I still need the storage so a SSD isn't an option for me. For general every day use and gaming, buy without a second thought.

Excellent performer at this price... things I don't like are the heat exhaust which is below the screen ( hot air directly hits the screen while the gpu is working) and no capslock indicator

I ordered this product on 10 August and it been almost 20 days that I'm using this laptopThe comparison with this laptop will be done with Acer Swift 3 SF314 which cost for Rs. 43,000/- and this laptop (Asus VivoBook S15) cost me Rs. 50,000/-The reasons why Asus overcomes Acer is, In this laptop we can upgrade ram upto 16Gb and its too much light and asus comes with a genuine windows 10, and the trackpad of the asus is very good as compared to the acer one because i have personally tested it.Coming to performance till now its working fine I play PUBG MOBILE with emulator and it works without any lagBattery life is not that good On a single charge it can last upto 5 hours with the Airplane mode onWith wifi on it can only last for 2-3 hoursAnd if you want to game on it just plug the charger and playBuild quality is good but be careful bcoz just in 20days of usage i got scratches on my lapOverall its a good deal for 50k

bought it from asus store for 47k totally worth it and installed 256gb ssd which cost me 6500. total now it cost me 53500. now it has become equivalent to vivobook s510un-bq256t which costs around 64k despite their is no ips display which i really don't require.

I love this laptop. Works too smooth.Feels very fast due to 16gb optain memory.Previous I have Dell laptop but Asus given amazing configuration in less price.. Keep it up Guys 👍👍

Everything is awesome...... But camera quality average

I won't be getting into the details since the configuration speaks for itself, just don't buy from the seller "selling24x7" since I received an unit which was deemed to be "counterfeit" when I tried to register it on the Asus Website. The unit also had some non-removable scratches on the screen and the touchpad was too. Anyway, about the laptop now -Just buy a DDR4 4GB RAM and maybe a 250GB SSD, all at 15k and add it to the laptop (SSD replaces the HDD). Use the supplied HDD inside a caddy (SATA to USB) as an external-HDD. Your laptop will now be crazy-fast. For the OS-installation, just download the Windows 10 ISO from the official Microsoft website using the Media Creation Tool and write it to a bootable USB-drive. Note the product-key before replacing the HDD with the SSD with any software from the internet (just Google "retrieve OEM OS-productkey"). Finally, install the OS in the SSD (pro-tip: NEVER FORMAT ANY SSD. It degrades it in a very bad way.)For what you can use this laptop: Everything. From gaming to productivity, just don't expect a smooth 60fps at high-settings in the games cuz it's an i5 + MX130 but it's decent at medium-settings (maybe even high if you're playing at 720p).To top-it off, get a Logitech G402 and a G213 (mouse and keyboard respectively) and you have a great setup under the 75k-segment :)Cheers and have a great time!

Laptop works perfectly fine- the display is clear and crisp, good sound with earphones plugged in. Negligible heating. Doesn't lag between tasks. Fingerprint sensor works well too. Keyboard is pleasant to use and backlight may be turned on or off using function keys. Excellent laptop for the price.P.S. ASUS' Grey colour is actually pretty close to black. Definitely not space grey as was suggested by some reviews.

I bought this laptop not from amazon I directly buy it from asus store. Laptop is very good works very smooth but the viewing angle and the keyboard is not good enough but ok. But spec. of this laptop is excellent in this price range. There is no heating problem but yeah little bit warm feel when I play pubg for 1hr as it doesn't have gpu fan.touch pad is awesome.Camera is really bad as it is vga so if you want live stream you should purchase external web cam.and I like that 16gb optane memory and if you don't like you can change it to SSD also.overall its a good product and in these price range I think you'll never find a good spec like this

Works well with minecraft, roblox. On setting with highest graphics, there is no time lag on this compared to my older je, 3rd generation.

Light weighted with almost all specs bundled at an affordable price.Its worth it.

Battery life has not been checked till the time of writing this review. ASUS registration process is not smooth. Otherwise a good product.

Good built quality, light weight and premium look.I have buy it for programming related stuffnd I m impressed with its performance and it has good battery life(6h surfing internet and programming), smooth keyboard,good mouse pad and fast fingerprint sensor.One thing I didn't like is its camera quality and sound of speaker is low.

Display is good but sound is very less it is the best laptop i could find at this range.battery gives 5 hrs at normal usage but while playing gta5 it only gives 2 hrs backup but it gets charged very fast. You can play all games but high end games like red deam redumption amd battlefield 5 are to be played at low settings

Don't go by the images in the review. See/try it out it in person(authorized centres). Keyboard feedback is not great but this shouldn't be a deal breaker. Everything else is quite justified for the price or maybe better than what you would expect at this price range.
