Its been a year i am using this product. it is very good also if u bought the same I bought(DM-138t) it comes with a 32 gb expandable ram which is just lit man. its very good. There are some cons too if you are a heavy gamer like me (Yt-NOX GAMING).Then you should probably go for a ram upgradation min. 1 ram of 8 gb should be upgraded within 1st year it makes this laptop more and more better. Screen is amazing,keyboard is amazing,speaker sound volume low but full 3D with sonic master.Also when put on surface sound enhances. It is a beast and you should buy it.

Processing speed is a bit slow considering its not ssd.. rest all is good.. got it for 47k.. worth it..

Good only fingerprint unlock missingHad issues with software problems like wifi drivers and start up problem windows would not load so did hard resetHeating is also there

Overall a good release by Asus under budget gaming laptops.... The Model can be upgraded by Asus for better performance but at this price range it's a decent... It depends on how you want to use it so if asked to me I would recommend this product for a decent gaming experience

Very good laptop for the price range got it for 53 k in sale looks premium and very slim built for a gaming laptop. Things get little hot when u start playing games

I will describe various aspects of this so-called Gaming Laptop.1. Build Quality: Perfect.It uses all those surfaces with Aluminium(Metal) finish which are on top. I mean the out front surface and keyboard chassis.The bottom and screen surfaces are of good build quality. It feels premium for a laptop with a metal finish.Aluminium is having the brushed pattern that makes it more eye-catching but also it has the problem of fingerprint magnet which means you can easily get your fingerprints on the metal surfaces which is going to be every time whenever you will use its keyboard by resting your palm. Those cannot be removed easily.2. Hardware Specs: ExcellentHaving such configuration makes it a good for Multitasking, Video editing, gaming. Good for software who need more RAM and Processing capability. Intel's i5 8th Genis perfect for power users and Nvidia's 10 Gen Graphic Processors (1050 here) with 8GB DDR5 RAM are good for any AAA games to play and 1060 will be better. It uses 4GB additional shared Memory so we can say that it has 8GB of Graphics Memory. Having an Intel's Graphic's Processor for light using makes it excellent because of this 1050Ti get awake only when you are Gaming and Video editing or Image processing it means having this beast most of the time idle makes it more battery efficient. 3. Battery: GoodYou are not gonna get a good battery backup during Game-play because the beast(1050Ti) get awake but during light uses it has a good battery backup and even using Windows 10 Battery Saver Mode makes it better. I have not calculated the time yet but on battery saving mode it can run the Laptop for 3 to 4 Hours(depends on what application you are running).4. Display: BetterHaving an IPS Panel with matte finish is always better. Excellent viewing angles beware with parents standing near to you they will gonna see all the stuff you are running from the side :-PFull HD(1920x1080 or 1080p) screen is enough. The refreshing rate is good for gaming which is 60Hz. Maybe we can change the panel with 144Hz refresh rate later, but I am not sure about this.5. I/O: Good2x2.0 USB ports, 1x3.0 USB and 1xUSB Type-C(missing the Thunderbolt support) and a 2.0 HDMI are not enough but good for a laptop, be sure it is not a desktop. You can use external USB Hub. The keyboard is good, The trackpad is good as it has both click buttons integrated which I do not recommend but it increases the area which is good here. For gaming, a mouse is recommended.

The most intresting thing is it a budget gaming laptop for average gaming i dont know what will happen to it when i conriniously play for 4-5 hours in it as i am not a dedicated gamer it is good for me.Another thing that i disappointed with it is sound.

This laptop is awesome....And for a range of 1050 GTX GeForce this give a pretty good performance..

The performance is really nice and its cooling system really keeps the palm resting place cool.The only problem I had till now is the speakers. Since the speakers are located at the bottom it reduces it's loudness and clarity.You won't find any other laptop with this specs for this price.

Got the product delayed for a day, but the product is too good for a price range like this.Battery life is terrible,Sound and display quality is not that impressive.Need to buy a cooling pad along with it only if you play game.

Absolutely a very satisfying product from Asus. I bought it and it's awesome. Don't fall for bad reviews. It is the best value for money laptop. I used this for nearly one month and it's awesome. Graphics is good when playing games. Light weight and best design laptop of all. No issues found, perfectly working. Go for it.

This is an excellent product at its price range for the purpose. It has been a month of use. Following are some points to note:PROs:1. Relatively light compared to other laptops in the range. Less than 2 kgs. Manageable for travel compared to other laptops in this range.2. Keyboard is very nice. Typing is a breeze and comfortable for long hours.3. Screen is Full HD. Viewing angles are fine and there is minimal glare.4. Intel?s integrated graphics card is generally active under the default automatic setting (unless a graphics heavy game is being played). With simple browsing or office work, a full charge generally lasts the standard battery benchmarks. Will update further if there are any events.5. Initially I thought anything below 1060 series should not be considered, but it seems now this is sufficient considering the other benefits this laptop comes with.CONs:1. Sound quality is average But then it has never been a problem (Make sure that ASUS ICEsound is installed)2. ASUS does not have an extended warranty promo for this laptop. This is a only only model as of nowPoints to Note:1. Screen issues: None as of now. Will update if anything happens2. Battery Drain: Batteries are prone to draining be it a laptop or a smartphone. For a simple test, in Windows, go to command prompt (open as admin) ? type ?powercfg ?energy? without quotes. It will create a report as an html file.Check for report errors & warnings and also, the battery design capacity and the actual capacity.3. Budget ? This laptop is a good value if purchased below 55K4. Upgradeability ? M.2 SATA SSD and 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM can be added and this can be done by anyone. However customer care suggests that it be done by Service centersOverall: It is worth it if you are looking for a multipurpose laptop that is used for heavy gaming and also travel friendly for less than 55K

With i5 8th gen and GeForce GTX 1050 I expected better performance than what I have experienced in the past month. Although the reason for my disappointment could be the mechanical hdd (will update my review after install m.2 SSD). Otherwise game handling is great, most of the games work well at HD graphic settings. Backlight keyboard is great to work with in the dark and the intensity is adjustable, backlight turns off automatically which is not the case with most devices. Keys are well spaced, it took no time to adapt but the arrow keys are really cramped. The display is not the best and not the worst, it has great viewing angles sideways although vertically after 30 degrees color starts fading. The weight is under 2kgs so one can use it for hours on the lap without feeling the weight. I bought this device for 54k and at this price point I could not find any better choice.P.S. if you want the best out of this device go for m.2 SSD

The design is awesome and its is slimmer.... at the price point 1050 4gb graphics is awesome..... with backlit keyboard..... nice user interface..... awesome product .... good product delivery.... but sound is not clear as much other but still value for money.... don?t think .. just buy it and one disadvantage is that heating issue... After intensive gaming the laptop reaches to 89 celcius and you should buy a separate laptop cooling pad for this and vaccum cooler is not supported for this.

Overall nice laptop. Have been using for about a month. The only drawback is the slow switching between the apps(heavy like games, editing, simulation). I am ok with the sound quality as I am not a heavy music sound guy.

i have been using i for more than 2 months , with high intense use no lag, no battery issues, i wish it could be more durable .
