• Incredible laptop

  The laptop is all red and black, and has a premium feel to it. I replaced the stock hard disk with an SSD. It was very simple to remove the back cover and the hard disk and put them back. Although making it boot from a USB drive was tricky, and I had to change some options in the BIOS for it. It comes with a Bluray Drive (not Writer). The red backlit keyboard looks nice, especially at low-light. The keys feel nice and firm to press, although sometimes they can be missed if you don't press firmly enough. Caps Lock light is a bonus. And oddly enough, to press the End key, you will need to turn off Num Lock and press 1. Power button is placed at the top-right corner within the keyboard. It could accidentally be pressed. Sound is very clear and not even a little distorted at maximum volume. The Republic of Gamers logo on the lid is also backlit and looks amazing. Battery is very good lasts 2 hours at high usage at medium brightness. It is quite heavy. It's a fingerprint magnet, especially if you have sweaty hands. The 1600 Mhz 8 GB RAM is a single stick. There is one more slot available if you want to upgrade. The Gaming Headset is an over-the-ear type. So outside sounds are cut-off. You also get a detachable microphone. The Gaming Mouse is big and feels a bit clunky. But that might just be me as I'm used to laptop-sized mice. The headset is red and black like the laptop, while the mouse is grey and black with blue light. The laptop bag is small and padded and has one compartment with a space for a laptop. There is very little bloatware. All in all, an excellent laptop worth the price.

• worth its price.. Gaming monster

  this laptop is a gaming monster. In 80k , you can't get any laptop with that specs. Gaming performance: runs 2 of the high end games : FC3 and Wolfenstein The New Order without lag. and the mouse and headphones you get with that monster will make you a gaming freak .. and a bit of advice : buy a good cooling pad , not because it heats up (which it does but veryyy less) , but for a better gaming performance

  I am satisfied with my laptop except some minor cons. Cons: It is a fingerprint magnet.Get dirty very easily.
