THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME IN THIS PRICE RANGE, I TOO HAVE BOUGHT THE LAPTOP BUT FROM A LOCAL SELLER AT 73K AND GOT SOME ACCESSORIES FREE TOO.IT EASILY HANDELS GAMES LIKE GTA 5 ETC. YUP WORTH BUYING.

Its the best laptop in this price range i bought it from local store for rs 73000.its value for money, battery is not so good and people who are reviewing and saying that it heats up alot doesn't have one with the help of asus rog center you can control the fans rpm.

I bought this for ₹71900 from Asus exclusive store. This laptop is incredible. Superb perfomance. Stylish design. It comes with a red backlit keyboard. Endless OS is beautiful but it is not very usefull. Runs smoothly with windows10. It comes with all the ROG gaming softwares eventhough this is not ROG. It runs Project Cars in highest settings. It does heats up but the cooling system is very effective. This laptop beats every other in this price range. This is a fingerprint magnet. The body make is good but very vulnerable to scratches. FX553VD DM483 do not have optical drive, but that is not a deal breaker. Use power iso to virtually mount a disc and install the drivers or just download it from Asus support website. There is a bay for it which can either be used for a dvd drive or a ssd. Sound is not very loud but super quality.Overall this is the best package.

i bought this laptop 2 days ago . i was very excited but unfortunately i dint get the chance to use it as its in the service center .. dont worry it was a maufacturing defect and they will give me a new laptop this tuesday. thhings i really want to clear is that thi si san amazing laptop at thhis range it has got all the latest things say its processor or its graphuc card .. you can run everygame on this machine . and it is pretty stylish. overall its a very good laptop n i m very excited for it ..... bus jaldi se aajae .. i recommend everyone to buy this laptop at this price range.

Well this looks like one of those rog laptops but it isn't really a rog.Purchased it from a retailer for 73k.Well, it looks great but yes it is a finger print magnet, but that won't be an issue as it is easily cleanable. Looks are great, backlit keyboard has adjustable brightness in three levels.No dvd writer, but has the slot. Useless os provided by asus.Remains very silent and cool while not doing heavy usage, but while playing gta 5, COD ghost, bf 4, 1, its temp reaches 66-70 which proves it has effective cooling system. Go for a vacuum cooler and there won't be any heating issues thereafter.Overall a beast in this price as no other laptop gives such features at this price.

Best in price don't think just go for it

*CON*- Comes with Endless OS ( you gotta install windows yourself *SEE MORE FOR STEPS*)*PRO*- eveything else. This is a Beautiful Beast.*STEPS*Get yourself a bootable usb of windows (use windows usb tool to mount .iso image of windows 10)all are available in Microsoft's website.When powering on, press f2 to go to BIOSDisable Secure Boot under Advanced Menu (F7) > SecurityEnable CSM Boot under Advanced Menu > BootSave and ExitInsert your Windows Bootable USB.Now again while powering on, press Esc.boot from your usb.install.if you get GPT partition error.-from your windows install window, press shift+f10.this will open cmd prompttype 'diskpart'then 'list'then 'select disk 0'then 'clean'your windows should install perfectly.if i helped you get rid of that stupid Endless OS. upvote this. I played almost all heavy games in this laptop..excellent performance in this price range..

played dishonored 2 at high (1920*1080) and with hbao+ got 25-30 fps really satisfied with this laptop

6 stars if there is no problem with drivers and windows 10 version problem arise for nvidia drivers. Other wise a best laptop in class.

Its a beast.....in performance. You can play several games like gta 5 ,battlefield 1, cs-go etc. in high graphics. If u want laptop bag or windows 10, u have to buy it from store. Battery backup is good if u watch movies but during gameplay its battery drains quickly. i've been using this laptop for more than a year and the performance is still worth appreciating ...i'm using heavy software and the performance is good, i bought this in only 73kit has only drawback of battery , it drain faster but wherever i know it is normal in high performance laptop.but still overall..-it is value for money-performance and speed is really good- no heating-4/5 for battery-it can easily handle gta 5 kind of games

Asus fx553vd-dm483 is an awesome laptop. I have been searching for a laptop with descent graphics card and best processor and found this.Pros- I7 7700HQ processor. We get 8 threads- Gtx1050 GPU.- Most awesome bios I have ever seen- Very nice build quality- Smooth TouchPad- Red back-lit very good quality keyboard.Cons- It is easy to get fingerprint marks on all over the body.- Non removable battery.

I bought this laptop in a local shop for Rs.74500, it doesn't have a optical drive i was very disappointed due to this, laptop battery percentage was reduced very fast, for 1 hour it reduces from 100% to 9% for only wifi usage, processing speed is good, i didn't try any game from now coz nvidia drivers not compatible with the current windows 10 pro os so now am update the os after that I'll play games and give reviews

Some thing that is not specified any where is instead of CD drive there is a caddy slot, on which you can put your hard disk. I brought a Samsung EVO 850 250 gb ssd and replaced the existing hard disk. Old hard disk was put to caddy slot and everything is working great. I would suggest upgrading to SSD and getting another 8 gb RAM to get the full performance. If you can buy 16gb DDR4 that would be much better since laptop supports upto 32 gb RAM.Laptop support charging mobile faster but you should install the right driver in windows for that.Trackpad is average, but the keyboard is good.If you are planning to use ubuntu, make sure you put the latest kernel in order to get laptop screen brightness adjustments. Also it is a pain to get the graphic card switching working in ubuntu.laptop is heavy and bulky, and fan sounds are on higher side.

Everything is awesome, just would be better if they would have given windows 10 ,a SSD and a DVD R/W

Well, apart from getting rid of that stupid endless os, everything about this laptop is just perfect for gaming

I bought this in May 2017. It had just launched then and bought it for 72k. And the listed price is yet come down even during sale. Not worth buying this now. Go for newer laptops with better CPU/ GPU and lower price than this.The only issues I had with this laptop is the inferior screen, slow HDD and poor battery life.But since it was intended for gaming and had a good CPU with a newer GPU, i decided to upgrade with an SSD.I would highly recommend you upgrade to branded and well reviewed SSDs for any laptop. The ones that come pre-installed with SSD are not the fastest and reliable.If you are buying this in 2019 and later, DONT. There are better ones available now, this is not a value product as of today.

The OS, takes a while even for a tech savy guy

You'll get a FPS of 60-70 while playing PUBG on low setting. The frame rate does drop sometimes but that is the issue of game being poorly optimized. Games like Witcher 3 runs at 60 FPS on medium settings. Far cry 4 runs smoothly even in ultra settings.

This laptop will die in few years because of its bad cooling system.
