Performance is more than expected. Never hangs. Cpu is fast in multi-tasking and even heavy programmes. Played nfs:hot pursuit 2010, running smooth. Only problem that installation 10gb memory is left, so you have to buy an external storage to work with it. otherwise the laptop is excellent. must buy.

This is a bang for its money ! The ease of using it as a tablet and computing prowess of a laptop combined in ONE. If you are looking for a under 25k device dont event think twice and just BUY. I was ready to spend upto 20-25k but found this much more valuable than more expensive devices..

Good laptop with nice design and easy to manage. Has a great look and so light that can be carried anywhere.Colour is also nice, got the item delivered before time.

I got this laptop 2 days before. flipkart gave delivery in next day even on sunday. I used it, it is good for office use and also for travel

I hardly write reviews but this product is such a beauty that it would have been rude. Those who are complaining about the 32GB internal and putting that in CONS sections should read the specification before buying this little monster. It's like you bought a petrol car and later complained that only if this would have been a diesel one. At 14999 your demand is absurd :) The product not only easily handle the browsing with 10+ tabs open, office and picture editing simultaneously but does the work perfectly fine. No lag at all. The keyboard is good but sounds fragile while typing specially for a person like me who treats keyboard as an enemy. I am using the gold color and it's beautiful like anything. i wish the looks doesn't fades :) The touch pad is big and smooth but it does malfunction sometimes but that won't irritate you. May be some software issue..will check for driver update. Only internal storage will stop you from using this one as primary system but frankly speaking, it is enough powerful to handle all the works that I do as a software developer. I am ready to share my bed with this beautiful lady...:D Update 1: After upgrading the BIOS to vs208, the touch pad is working perfectly fine. Don't know how but touch pad is better after this update Update 2: Update the touch pad driver and the resume issue when the touch pad used to malfunction after coming out of standby will be solved. To driver can be downloaded from the Asus support page and the old driver has to be uninstalled before installing the new driver.

this machine is excellent.despite of having a low performing processor, it works great or simply awesome. PROS: 1) sleek and stylish body(looks like a macbook air,seriously. 2) very good chicklet-style keyboard (responses great). 3) fabulous working trackpad (hope it continues to be same). 4) very lightweight. 5) battery life is tremendous. CONS: 1) less HDD capacity (only 32gb , of that , only 15-20gb comes to use) so , that was the review of Asus Eeebook X205TA. these CONS are not so affective coz atleast i can take weight of a external hardisk's.

I was planning to buy an android tablet for around 15-20k and then I found this. Awesome!!! now I feel, android tablet don't even stand a chance in functionality and power compared with a proper laptop like this. I felt its as powerful as 3rd gen i3 laptop I have, for daily uses. eMMC is much faster and thus loads even faster. Tested with 20+ content heavy websites in chrome, no lag at all.... Need for speed MW works with full graphics. Windows 8.1 feels so cute and its metro apps makes the experience even better. Light weight and a maaaaaad battery which can last for the whole day usage. And just 15k, wowww...

Got it yesterday in a day delivery super service from flipkart! Asus eeeBook x205ta is simply awesome and does the everyday job quiet smoothly! PROS: 1.Superbly designed and pure stylish look. Premium looks n feel. 2.Daily performer in works like web browsing with ease with 6 tabs open in chrome while writing this review along with 3-4 apps open. Multitasking is looking super as promised. Movies, Songs are loud enough good speakers. 3. Unbelievable battery backup up to 10-12 hours on full charge! 4. Nice keyboard easy to type. 5. A great touch pad with gestures support 6. Windows 8.1 plus 1TB oneDrive Storage plus 500GB ASUS storage on cloud plus office 365 free! 7.Overall brilliant and Awesome ! m luvin it! CONS: 1. Only 2 gigs of RAM but it hasn't been a problem at all! around 1GB free initially and with 3-4 apps running including chrome with 6 tabs open I still have 500-600 MB available! 2. 32GB EMMC is limited but who will store movies n songs there? It's only for app installation for me coz I purchased 1tB external HDD plus 1.5TB cloud storage free! Finally I can say for daily normal usage its a great choice!

It is a really awesome device for the price point and the performance it gives. Pros- -Good Build quality. Despite being made of plastic it looks and feels much premium. -Performance- It comes with a modest cpu but it seems enough for basic tasks and never lagged while doing my daily activities. -The screen is sharp and vibrant. Make sure you align it at proper angle to get the proper contrast -The keyboard is nice and soft. Makes typing on it a breeze -The trackpad is big and responsive (plus the gestures) -The battery life is simply epic. The use of low power consuming cpu and EMMC pays of here. I almost get 8-9+ hrs of usage easily. -Fast RW-Speeds. Cons- -Low Storage (Use external drives) -Only USB 2.0 ports This is a great buy for those looking for a budget friendly device for daily purposes like checking mails,making occasional presentations,browsing,etc. The Bundled Windows 8.1+Office 360+1TB One Drive storage increases it value. I got the Golden model and the colour is not that deep as in the image and looks way more elegant. also the finger print marks are not visible as in the blue model.

Flipkart delivery was as usual fast , and when i opened the box it was awesome , well packed ,a laptop and a charger which is just like a mobile charger and a manual , i charged it for 3hrs as per the instruction and then i switched it on .Everything was there , MS 365 , Antivirus , cloudstorage , skype . the cam is good , the body is good , looks classy .the hardware and software both good . and i have bought 62gb memory card as well as the storage memory is just 18gb . Trust me , go for it , it worth your money . the video quality and pixal is good , u cant view it from all angles,but u wont complaint still i love it .

Update: Updated the OS to Windows 10 a couple of days back, using the Media Creation Tool. While installing, choose the 'Create a bootable device' option and create a USB bootable version. Windows 10 is flexible enough to allow an external HDD to backup your existing OS and files. The laptop is now running Windows 10 and it is quite good. Earlier: Purchased this for 14k from flipkart, which delivered this product in a day, though I did not opt for a faster delivery - always a customer delight!!! The notebook is really great - kudos to ASUS for choosing the Atom Z3735F processor. This tiny processor is such a delight for everyday computing while ensuring enough battery is available for a whole 8 hours. At 11.6 inch the display size is just right for browsing, document editing and office work, while the 768p resolution ensures that display resolution is quite sharp. Glare isn't a problem when the brightness is set right and you don't sit directly under a high wattage light :). And guess what, this tiny champion has wireless display inbuilt which allows you to duplicate, extend and project your display to any device connects seamlessly to my Sony 42W700B TV. 720p videos play without any issues on this notebook however, when it comes to 1080p videos, the ones with higher than 15MBps bitrate do not play smoothly. Why would someone want to play a 1080p video on a 768p display? I bought the gold color and it doesn't attract fingerprints unlike the darker colors. Coming to the keyboard - the keys are almost full sized which is quite a comfort when typing. You don't have to put an effort to get accustomed to it. VGA camera is a letdown, however the camera does quite well within the Skype app and I am not going to use this to take selfies or direct movies. Windows 8.1 allows you to backup your settings, documents and files over the cloud and to any external HDD connected. Lessens the worry of losing critical data

At 15k you cant get better than this. Pros: Long battery life (min 10 to max 12hrs) nice screen (small but efficient) nice chiclet keyboard Very light weight Office 365 included Cloud Storage of 500gb Comes with Windows preinstalled (Found some expensive laptops not preloaded with Windows which isn't ideal for someone not familiar with loading/installing windows on laptop/pc) Cons Out of the 32 gb storage on laptop you get around 18 gb left for use (can be overcome by using micro sd card and the free cloud storage) Processor not meant for gamers or heavy app users but ideal for browsing, music, office work and playing light games. Not recommended for use as primary computer primarily due to storage and processor constraints. At this price the Pros heavily outweigh the Cons. My decision of buying this laptop was made easy after having used the awesome zenfone 5 from Asus (also bought from flipkart) earlier. And a big Thanks to all Reviewers on Flipkart whose reviews helped me in my decision. Finally, Cant thank Flipkart enough for on time sorry, before time delivery and excellent packing and of course 100% Genuine Product.

I have purchased this awesome one based on the specs and ratings and it din't dissappoint me at all. What was promised by Asus & Flipkart, what I expected was delivered in the box in 2 days. Hands down go for it. It can be a great option for gifting, personal compact usage and travel purpose. Amazing design, sleek, stylish and user friendly.

AFTER USING THIS FOR 3 DAYS! In this lill price range, this is the best thing. I'll say the 1> Display is Great, 2> Touchpad is Superb, 3> Fast as it's processor, 4> Built quality Magnificent and Eye catching. But, 1> Speaker Sound is really Low. 2> Low disk space, so, i got an external. And yes, no heating problem despite it is a fanless, it heats much less than those with fan.

it s easy to carry around as it s very light wt. start up very quickly compared to other windows laptop . keyboard n track pad is big enough for such small laptop. cons : can t attach to a projector directly , u need to buy a adapter for it .

100 percent satisfaction. Very comfortable to use. User space is very low and hence i bought a 64gb memory card along with this. Battery back up is superb. Keyboard is not so delicate. Original OS, MS Office pack and Asus 500 gb cloud storage are the best features. Perfect value for the money paid.

Windows update has no user settings to check & download the updates. Its built in with automatic updates 5. SD card don't work after installation. Need to download and install Realtek driver for windows 10 6. You can get back to Windows 8.1 within a month. For this it occupies 4GB of data in drive space 7. Asus Smart Gesture - Need to update with smart gesture driver for windows 10 from asus download center. Super awesome gestures for selecting notification center, start and task view.

Atom processor works like a charm. Built quality is excellent. Keyboard is not full though. Cam quality is bad. Battery backup is awesome(approx 10-11 hrs of continuous use). Two usb 2.0 ports is just not enough. 32 gb emmc is a demerit. Can't install much applications. Overall I must say at 14k it is a good device.

Lots of reviews are already done and and if you are not convinced about it by now then probably you should be in different price segment. At 15k you can't expect better than this. This is a great laptop for anyone who belongs to that category. [Using for : some coding + extensive web surfing + some photo editing + music + video] Pros: - Looks like MacBook Air but Costs 1/4th of that. Go for Gold color. No fingerprints and premium feel. - 12 hours battery back up is absolutely true. -- Fast and responsive until and unless you want to torture it. 3 Chrome Windows with 4 tabs in each + MS Word and a FullHD video playing in background and no symptom of lag. Very efficient and smart use of the four cores. - Island Keyboard. Initially it felt awkward but withing 30minutes of typing i regained my typing speed with almost 0 error. - No Heating Issue. Fanless / Noiseless.0 noise. - Big Touch-pad feels premium. - Minimalistic looks. 2 usb is more than enough. micro hdmi. Don't complain about these issues. They not only help to keep cost down but also enhance looks. - Charger Adapter is very compact and easy to carry. Cons: - Internal Storage too low (14gb only after system takes remaining space) - Get a 32GB/64GB micro sd card and problem solved. - No soft case with the laptop but you can get one at 200rs. - Speaker is not loud but you can clearly listen to stereo setup which enhances experience. Excellent laptop at this price point, delivers what it promises. Recently updated the OS to Windows 10, and am very happy with it. My perfect companion for travelling. Note for buyers: though it says 32GB of disk space is there, the actual available space is much less. Purchase a separate microSD card if you need more storage.

. I have multiple browser tabs open along with word & excel documents, and I do not notice any lag whatsoever! It has 20.8GB user space on the flash drive, and I added a 64GB MicroSD Class-10 card to top it up. There are also some bundled cloud offers: Microsoft OneDrive with 1TB storage for a year (along with Office 365), and Asus Webstorage with 500GB for 2 years. Since OneDrive is also available on mobiles & Mac, I am now using it extensively to share data across platforms. The 1-year bundled subscription to Office 365 is neat. The machine is also very lightweight. The battery also seems to last forever (after a 3-4 hr usage, 60% battery still remains). At this price point, I should not nitpick, but I will point them out anyway. The screen is a bit dull with not-so-great viewing angles, but it still very good for this price. Also, there is an issue with the trackpad. Asus SmartGesture, which enables multi-finger gestures, does not work sometimes when the machine wakes up from sleep (other functions are fine). A reboot fixes the problem. I tried updating the drivers, but this has not helped. Anyway, I use a mouse and hence this has not bothered me much. Overall, this is the machine to get if you're looking at a casual usage. It is also highly portable (including a lightweight charger, which is proprietary by the way). If these are your expectations, look no further.
