  This Chromebook is just what I have been looking for since I needed a small enough laptop to do my writings and edit documents online. The form factor is one of the best things about it along with the color. I really love how it looks because it stands out from the generic colors of the typical Mac books found in Starbucks. If you are in serious need of a lightweight and good enough Chromebook, then look no further. The best part of all is that it is inexpensive compared to other Chromebooks!

• A lot of computer for the price!

  My 13" MacBook Pro is my usual day-to-day machine, but I wanted something inexpensive and, most importantly, small and light, to take traveling to Europe. At less than $200 and around 2 lbs, this fit the bill. CPU, RAM, and storage are all sufficient for everything I want to do -- Gmail, Spotify, Google Docs, browsing -- without straining or bogging down. Paired with the TeckNet Bluetooth Mouse (also from Amazon) I have a secure, portable, and very usable traveling setup. And, should it get lost or stolen somewhere on the road, my data is safe on Google's servers, and it won't break the bank to replace it.Although I gave the individual review items -- material, sound, battery life -- each 4 stars (fine, but not great), the total package is a solid 5 star offering. An astounding amount of computer for the price, and 100% recommended if the Chromebook computing model meets your needs.

• Cheap and effecient!

  The sound is pretty decent, I think it was better than my bigger laptop I had previously. Very easy to use, AppStore is a bit slow but no problems. Battery life is good! I bought this laptop for college, so far I was able to download Word and docs is available on the apps. Convenient light weight and very cute. I recommend it if you want something easy and cheap! Of course you won?t get Great quality for gaming or anything beyond. It?s definitely meant to type, so this is perfect for a college-high school student. If I could add one feature, it would be keyboard light up!!!Recommend it so far!!:)

  I had the unit for 24 hrs now. I was previously using a same size Acer chromebook I bought used 2 years ago so it was 5 or so years old. I wanted more memory (2 vs 4G) , storage (16 vs 32G) and the ability to run Android apps. *****I qualified reviewer made the point that the display was based on TN technology (vs IPS) and off angle viewing was poor. I found this to be the case but for my usage pattern its fine. Color quality is noticeably worse than my new TV but it good enough. I didn't want to pay $100 more for a better display. *****Androids apps work very well (e.g. Skype) others Just ok. *****I'm waiting on a usb c to HTML cable to confirm HTML support. *****I'm happy this far. I have an ASUS tablet that has been great. I expect this ASUS chromebook will also prove to be great.Update 1/18/19Received usb c to 6 format cableThe following all worked well at the same time: !!!HDMI (w/ sound) over 25ft cable.usb3 flash drive playing musicEthernet LAN

• Works Well for Me

  This is a beautiful red Chromebook. I can connect to my Windows computer to any of my shared files. A Chromebook is not a laptop, but this one works well for my needs (mostly internet news, etc.) I use Google Drive and have my Documents loaded. I also have a 1 Terabyte external drive (red!), with a red cable(!), and a red mouse. I also added a Patriot Micro SD of 124 gigs for additional on-board storage, so I put my graphics, music and audio (non-music) on that with room to spare. Asus builds a quality product.

  I was debating between several other Chromebooks, this one is great! I love love love Asus, my previous computer was the same brand and I've had it for well over five years and it is still high functioning so i decided to stick to them. This product is lightweight and easy to use. It is for anyone who has simple basic tasks to execute, i personally use it for writing and streaming. Huge fan of Google Docs, YOU DON"T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT LIKE MICROSOFT WORD!!! This computer has a great battery life and it's perf for anyone who needs a simple basic computer and has a wifi connection.
