Bought it because it is the among the smaller phones out there. Love the size, the battery life is decent runs almost 1.5 days without charge, with moderate use and 2 with minimum use. The camera is nice. It is good enough at this price range and does not have too much bloatware. Only wish Asus would give longer OS support.

Superb phone with superb performance

Wanted a Black Asus 8z, but they have not been available for quite some time. So I had to settle for the Silver option but quite happy with the looks. Especially loving the small form factor. Display of the phone is amazing and so is the camera. Not using the finger print sensor as it's inaccurate most of the times and so is the face unlock. Settling for pin unlock. Haptics are good. No major heating issues observed under normal conditions. Does heat up a bit during charging but this happens with all the phones. Not complaining about the battery life, it's good enough for me as I am not a heavy user and a non gamer. Gesture controls are good too. Common accessories such as back cover cases are not widely available for this model. The case provided is sturdy but slippery. So had to opt for a cheap silicone case available on Flipkart. In all a good phone if looking for a small phone with a powerful processor and you are not finicky about the finger print sensor and face unlock ID. Am using the battery charging limit of 90 % to keep the battery healthy. Happy with my purchase as did not want to use the bricks offered by other brands.

You will definately miss the battery time and charging time if you are coming from oneplus family of phones. fingerprint sensor is a little bit slow. Otherwise one of the best value for money phones you can buy right now. amazing camera and performance.

Always a delight to use Asus - graduated to this from 5z - my only grouse is the availability of things like a screen protector for this product in the market readily - also, very few service centers if anything goes wrong (which is not very often though) u have very few options - rest a compact phone and fantastic performance.

Best compact phone ever. It had heating issue, but solved after 12 updates. The battery is decent, but If you use battery saving modes it last longer. It launched late in India though. Bigger brands like Asus should think about time commitments.

If you are buying it, you already know its value. This phone is an amazing one in its performance, speed, battery life, quality of audio, and its speakers are the highlights. A must buy for those hunting for small sized phones.

4.7⭐ out of 10⭐ .......,. Pocket powerhouse!..... The dual speaker system is the best I've ever used on a phone, that Cirrus Logic amp really does wonders on this tiny phone! Snapdragon 888 is extremely fast and this 120hz display is a joy to use as well. As a fan of more compact smartphones, this one ticks all the boxes and is the perfect size. Not too small and still extremely compact. Cameras are extremely well tuned and the Sony lenses are top notch, ultra-wide here is the only one that doesn't have a fish eye effect, which is amazing to look at. Build quality is extremely nice, feels very premium and sleek. Battery life gets decent once you let the phone settle for a day. Overall a perfect sleeper phone that goes unnoticed in your pocket. .......... Define in one line= MONSTER...😈

My Honest review after 3 weeks of usage. I am a OnePlus 6t user, Still I am using that one. Personally I am looking for compact smartphone from while. Finally I got ASUS 8z. This Device full filled my desire specially on size and performance. It has such a Great display and audio quality never seen this quality in any other brand, it's gives lots of customisable options. Pure software experiance and smooth. Most of the users are mentioning heating issue while charging and usage, but most of the devices are getting heat while charging its usual. I need to mention this here, actually this is a compact device so the heat will spread all over the device quickly so its feel hot for some users. It's normal. Battery consistency is adequate. After updated to Android 12 battery performance and standby time increased to 10% No aftermarket accessories for this device, it feels disappointing to all 8Z users who is searching for accessories. I hope 8Z will get some accessories soon in our market. Overall it's a great phone. I personally recommend this device.

Audio quality is quite impressive 😌 And a very compact phone Issues It takes almost 1.5 hrs for charging Fingerprint scanner is quite slow. Slower than realme gt master edition yi takes almost 2-3 seconds to unlock device if it works But i already knew what was i getting I read all the reviews It has some issues but after using for like 3 day I'm happy with it cause in India u can't get compact phone with headphone jack and this phone has best audio quality also with water resistant

Compact phone and well built covered in every aspect, just battery life is if you keep it on 120Hz constant.

Quality maketh phone ! Has all the audio codecs needed 3.5 jack and decent camera and processing . Sony was the only other brand i preferred for mobiles asus seems close .
